ive been skimboarding for a few weeks but now i want to buy a board, i was thinking of buying an exile board

whats the best type of board and style for a beginner/ intermediate guy whos 125 pounds?

Thanks :) and if you want to say any tips on skimboarding that would be nice too

Dude I made one out of marine waterproof plywood when I was 14. I was about the same weight.
Just get a saw and paint it with waterproof paint.
I drew two circles...one large and one small and connected the edges with a straight line . It was tear drop shaped & it worked great. Throw the small end first for thin water and the wide end for heavy water & crash into the waves at the end!

$300 ? Way too much. For that, you should be able to get a custom one with any design you want on it.
