that they work. One is a wet method of cleaning rugs, and the other is the direct opposite, a completely dry method. I know that one is totally better than the other, but I can't recall which. Any thoughts?

Anything wet will have to dry and mold spores can grow. This would not be good for anyone with asthma or other breathiing or allergy problems.
