in a lot of my dreams i end up driving some kind of vehicle (cars, bicycles, etc.) and losing control of it. sometimes i crash into something, other times it's like the brakes have gone out, sometimes it's just like i'm hydroplaning and eventually the car stops. i never die and i don't seem to be injured after the crash or whatever. this part of my dream is just that, a "part"/not the focus of the dream. what does it mean?

In my opinion there are a couple things this could mean.
1) You are afraid of loosing control in the real world. Perhaps you tend to micromanage things or you do everything yourself. How ever, you try to control as much as you possible can, out of fear.
2) You feel that you have already lost control of your life or the happenings around you.

If any of these lie true, you need to find out what it is that you're so afraid of. The fear that you must look for isn't necessarily fear in general, but might be a specific event or emotion from which you are trying to shelter yourself.

desires are each so often given by way of the Lord to show the place you opt for progression in life. the translation of such desires is real, yet provided that the interpreter has training from the Lord. different dream interpreters that have an incredible variety of journey can come close, yet whilst there is direct training from the Lord related to those desires that are consistant with a dream that's given by way of him, then the translation will hit a soft spot on the guy's soul. the translation would be suited. Many won't consider me, and that i in no way answer questions with regard to desires that are purely the innovations replaying the day. I additionally don't think that any interpretation I supply is mine, yet belongs to Christ. There are cases in the Bible of two dream interpreters, Joseph and Daniel. i won't say that one and all desires have meaning. some are, as you're saying, random innovations occuring as you sleep. could you have one with deeper meaning, don't be afraid to voice it. you will comprehend the real interpretation once you notice it.

Driving
-To dream that you are driving a vehicle, signifies your life's journey and your path in life. The dream is telling of how you are moving and navigating through life.

If you are driving and cannot see the road ahead of you, then it indicates that you do not know where you are headed in life and what you really want to do with yourself. You are lacking direction and goals.

Dreaming of driving a car in reverse suggests you have set unrealistic financial or career goals for yourself.

Driving in the wrong lane means that you are taking the wrong approach to a real life situation, or you are heading down the wrong path. Rethink your choices and don't let yourself be influenced so much by others around you.

To dream that someone else is driving you represents good fortune - you will profit from your superior knowledge.

To dream that you are driving a cab or bus means you feel stuck in your life.

Yes, this is a common dream.

A vehicle often represents your body. Not having any brakes means you are unable to exercise restraint. Perhaps you are overeating, partying a lot, something like that.

It doesn't have to be your body, it could be other aspects of life, but you are feeling "out of control."

correlation does not mean causation... most of the times dreams don't mean anything, but if I could guess I would say there's something in your life that you are just standing by and watching helplessly. something you can't really control. Or you try to but it never gets you anywhere. Maybe a friend or significant other who basically doesn't listen. Hope that helps

You've just lost control, but it's not life threatening. take back control, but very carefully and deliberately. You have too many irons in your fire is all take the tyme to sort out whats really most important to you and your family and put those things first. Make a list, a to do list if you will and number it by necessity

I'm no pyschologist or anything, but it sounds to me like you're afraid to lose control of something in your life whether it's a relationship/work etc. and it scares you but not to the point where it would break you. Good Luck!

I think it means that you have a fear of being out of control in your daily life.

When you cant control something or feel like you have lost control over something it will manifest in a dream.

Fear of losing a job...financial worries.....

Does any of this ring true???

it sounds like things are a little out of sort in your life. you probably have a lot of things going on and cant handle them all at once. try sitting down and writing out some of the things you are dealing with and work on them one by one
