First spot, right in front! There's no way you can get "boxed in" from the front spot.

It depends what track you are on, if you are at a track where there will be yellow flag pit stops you want a pit at the front, although if you thinkthere will be green flag pit stops, it actually takes less time to pit and get off pit road due to momentum at the end of pit road where you no longer need to follow pit road speed. When they get to the point wher they no longer need to follow pit road speed(lets say the speed is 45) The person in the first pit stall actually gets to the final line going 30 mph. Whereas the guys farther back are going 45 when they get to the line allowing them to get off pit road faster under green flag stops. I hope you understand what im saying.

Two of the best spots are the very first pit box and the one directly behind the opening in the wall for the garage entrance. You can't get boxed in and leaving the pits is soo much easier.

...Most of the time 1st spot is the best because there is no car to block you in in front of you.
...There is also a pit box area that falls between the devices that determine pit road speed. If you choose one of those spots you can actually speed down pit road and gain some time without being caught.
...I can't say exactly how it works or which area it is but I have heard it before during a race.

Several drivers have picked pits near the start of pit row and, and with 2 tires have had accidents with cars still coming in the pits.
Pick the front, so you have a clear exit, plus you can see what others teams are doing.

Everyone Learned from Dale SR. Richard Childress to choose the pit
box closest to the end of pit lane for multiple reasons...

i'd take the last one as it leaves the pit, it is easier to avoid accidents. Also when you leave the pit you probably won't have to deacelerate after you leave the pit stall, you can just keep the hammer down and not worry about the pit road speed limit.

Depends on what track I'm at. 1st box isn't always the best.
