I like both
The fish -Icthus in Greek-stands for jesus Christ Son of God,Savior.
Multiple fish stand for the "School of Christ' in following Him and by His grace His teachings as a disciple
I prefer the cross since that proclaims that Incarnate God loves us so much and identifies with us in His human nature that He embraced even death for us.
I like the crucifix, both types of Calvary and of the resurrection, the most of all the cross signs since that underlines what Jesus did for us the most.
. There are many variants of the cross, such as the Latin Cross( the most common), the Greek Cross(+),Celtic,Armenian,Maltese, etc

Neither. Jesus' true followers do not need any symbols to identify them or to worship.
He said that we'll be known by our love for one another, not some pagan symbol or some sea creature.
