Hello,
Dr. Ahmad Zaweel (LASER work) is the only Arab scientist to have received the Nobel science prize and the only Muslim to have received one since the death of the Pakistani physicist Dr. Abdul Salam.
I would have to see though how and why Nobel Winners are picked. After Al Gore I have some feelings internal politics has a lot to do with awards just like figure skating judging and Olympic event locations chosen. Many profs from paleontologists to physics teachers when I went to University were Islamic and sharp in their fields.
Cheers,
Michael Kelly

Jews are represented proportionately among Nobel Prize winners far in excess of their representation in the general public.
This is no doubt explained by the famous Disraeli quote. "While your ancestors were still swinging from the trees, ours were priests in the Temple of Solomon. "

There is nothing scientific about islam. If there were you would not need faith or a sociopathic imam telling you what to do.

If Arafat receive the Peace Noble Prize! How much value do you put on the selection of who gets it! these days not much.
Arafat robbed his people blind, and he got the prize. Go figure!
There are many Muslim Scientist. If they get overlooked! It doesn't mean they are not there.

this is a good website ,may help you
I think sometimes ,we fail to understand or explain at first and with science development we discover that truth and our faith increase.
this don't mean that we don't share in looking for science and participate in it,our religion order us to do ,then we discover that what we find is present in our book ,so we believe more and more in the God.
There are many muslims won the nobel prize , i know from them who are from my country as Ahmed zewil in science , prisedent Sadat in peace , Nagieb Mahfouz in arts , and El_baradai in peace
