If you had Print Shop, you could create a text box, full page size, then save it as PDF.
You can get Print Shop 21 at www.amazon.com for less than $10. I just ordered it.

If you are in a Word document, you can convert it online, free, at www.media-convert.com.

If you have Word 2007, I understand it will save as PDF.

You can use a PDF to Word converter such as Solid Converter PDF to convert a pdf file to word for editing and then convert back to PDF with a single button click.

You can download a free trial at: http://www.soliddocuments.com/download.htm?product=SolidConverterPDF

Use the latest Microsoft Word or use a pdf plugin for Word 2007.
