Mind is not a finite entity, it is as infinite as a soul. Mind and soul together form the pure consciousness that resides in every human being as a divine spark called by various names,it is due to this divine spark that we live, the divine spark is a part of GOD and if we truly apply our mind and soul together on this divine element in our own selves we can realize GOD within our own selves. This is exactly what we do not understand and look for GOD outside our own selves where we may never find GOD.

A finite entity cannot understand the infinite, save through love. That is one of the basic tenets of mysticism. If you can understand God, what you understand is not really God.

To Monte54--I think you have it backward. God's thought process is extremely simple; man's is unnecessarily complex. I agree with everything else you said.

Infinity can never been seen .Things that can not e seen do really exist .You do t see air .but you feel it while blowing or when the leaves of trees move in the wind .so is life .you do nt see life (soul).but you see its presnce from the movement of he beings that have life in them.The point is that things that you do not see or you are not able to see do really exist .This infintiy is at the micro and macro levels.Just as ther eis infinity in the highest , there is infinity in the samllest .Thre is always a quantity smaller than the smallest , just as there is a quantity higer than the highest .This can only seen withthe help of the Eye of Gnana , the divine eye tht is wisdom.the mind being the repository of wisdom, it can comprehend infintiy.
This is the totality of God .To see this ,Lord Krishna gave Arjuna the divine eye,- the wisdom as no one can see it wiht his physical eye .

"But you can not see me
with your own eye;
I will gie you a divine eye to see
th emajesty of my discipline ". verse 8 of the 11Th teaching of bhagavad -gita .

We can't fully understand all that God has done, and why, and that is why He helps provide faith to fill in the gaps. Hopefully, however, when we meet face-to-face, I'm sure if we have questions, He will provide. Church and Christian fellowships, Bible studies, prayer, and yes, Y/A all help provide insight! And with all the garbage thrown around here, I believe it takes a much more intelligent mind to realize you cannot prove God's existence purely through scientific means. And my proof comes mainly from the stirrings in my soul when I pray, read, and listen to anything concerning my God. And it truly is a blessed feeling!

The universe is infinite, while god/reality - the divine or perfect goodness - is not. It relates to this world and our shared human destiny. At any rate, we have only to participate in that divine good through our individual transformation and fulfillment of purpose. Through returning to authentic being we do so.
