Firstly, yes a teenager can save the world, don't let any excuses hold you down. Secondly, don't aim to start of with something so big that everyone will know about and what not, start small. Start with your comunity and your school. Get a recyciling program running, ask kids to help plant trees around the neigbor hood. check with your city hall and see if they have any thinkg going on that you can help with. Despite what you think people in your community will notice, and not only that, but they will be amazed that someone so young is willing to do all that to help save the world. Slowly work your way up, want to help stop poverty? sponser a child. There are many things you can do. Most importantly, don't try to tackle the issue as a whole, save one life at a time, cause one life is never a "little cause" Best of luck!

Yes teens can change the world. Just go about it the right way. Don't act like the hippies of the 60's and the W haters of today. Nobody takes you serious if you act like them. Get some help from responsible adults that are respected by their peers. You will get alot further if you do things correctly. Get your ideas out there and be sure everyone knows where they came from. Use all of the resources available to you. Be aggressive but not forceful. Have fun and good luck.

i've thought about before because i am also a young teen and changing the world takes alot of work and help. I really would like to make a difference but I've always doubted it and said I could never do it. Now that I realize it I could make a difference and I could influence people to do the same. We just have to stay positive

Indeed anyone including a teen can make a change in this world. It is the onus of an individual to practice good ethics of life and try to encourage our peers to do the right thing so that a habit of good moral values can become a stigma so that a dominoe or chain reaction effect will be created.

Teens are easily influence, and once the right message are passed on to them then changes of positivity can spread throughout this world. So just be positive in your thoughts and action and do good to others and I am sure you will be recognized.

Of course a teenager WILL change the world. I'm turning 20 in a couple months, so I guess Im not in your generation, but you are going to be part of the dominent adult group in America one day, and your actions right now could make a major difference of things to come. Just remember that in the economy, it takes about 5 years for actions to have results.

Poverty: Donate your local clothing to good will, or free markets in your area.

Recycle.

Read up on politics so you can be familiar with them by the time you're able to vote.

A major issue right now is health care. Especially for the poor and senior citizens. An average ER hopsital vist is $500, depending on the severity.

Minimum wage. The economy has inflated over the years, but minimum wage has barely budged to stand up to this inflation.

All those Great People, who were the CHANGE MAKERS in the history, they were teenagers at a time. Now if you want to become a famous change maker, it is right time for you to select a field where you wish to excel, and then focus upon that particular topic, in addition to that you have to continue your studies to properly qualify accordingly. Set your goals today, plan to achieve your objectives, and try to gather a group of like-minded people with you. Sure you will change the world to a better future, if not within teen years of your age, maybe a little (few years) later ..... my best wishes for you

sure. Did you ever see Pay It Forward. A little kid, like middle school, changed the world by doing something for three people and telling them they had to do something for three people now. It reached halfway across the country before a reporter came to his house and told his mom and he was on the news.

Most definately. But not on your own. Get people to help, start a website to spread the word, etc. etc.
