Mr Paul Cyp, Saints can be more or less powerful with God according their degree of glory and of course all their prayers are in conformity to the will of God.

St. Jude and St. Rita are the patron saints of hopeless causes. St. Philomena is pretty good at pleading our case before God, too, and she has a way of letting you know she's working on it for you.
Then there's St. Therese of Liseux. She promised to spend her Heaven doing good on earth, and her clients report some pretty amazing favors as a result of her intercession. She usually sends you a rose of some sort to show that she's praying for you.
Personally, I ask the Blessed Mother to pray for me if I need intercession. She loves the people that her Son died to save, and she's always there to pray for them.
Edit:
The question was, "Who is the most powerful saint with God?" not "What is my particular bias against Catholic beliefs?" If you're going to respond, the least you could do is answer the question that was asked, rather than try to shove your beliefs down the questioner's throat.
And do some of you people seriously believe that Catholics aren't Christians? Exactly Who do you think is up there on that Cross that's in every Catholic church -- the Only Begotten Son of the Father, the One that we accept as our Lord and Savior and worship with all our hearts?
I'll give you a hint: it's not Buddha.

When reconciled, no need for mediation nor intercession.
Be ye reconciled (through Jesus --> Christ) --> "to God".
As for 'Jesus is the Lord', it's only possible by a Holy Ghost.
But we are told: God is a Spirit (Alive), not a Ghost (Dead).
As for saints, well, many dead ones arose: Matthew 27:52,
and many shall come...to DECEIVE... shall deceive many.
Paul says to those called saints, that be in Rome:
Grace(not law) unto you, and peace(not vexation)
from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
So then Paul, as "his witness unto all men", is also
a minister unto the saints at Jerusalem: Rom 15:25.
Saint Stephen? In Acts 7:55?
He saw Jesus standing right of God on high.
It notably got him cast out and stoned to death.
For this God notably said: Sit at my right hand, till I ...
BIG LORD said unto the Little Lord: Sit (not stand);
For you don't stand up when you're going poddy, eh,
lest you get some law dung on feet shod with peace.
The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

Christ is all the intercession anyone ever needs, the man-made 'saints' can do nothing for you
(edit)
pray to God "as well?" maybe you never had a chance to read matthew 6:9-13, where Christ (remember Him?) taught us how to pray...He taught us to pray to the Father...not some 'designated hitter'

The Saints are just human beings like us. They do not have "power". God has the power. It is fitting to ask them to intercede for you, just as it is fitting to ask your friends and family here on earth to intercede for you. But all they can do is offer their prayers to God on your behalf. The rest is up to Him.

Any true Christian is a saint.
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; 1 Tim. 2:5

No, really, there is a Saint Lucifer, I'm not kidding.

I'm not sure what he is the patron saint of, but he should probably be the patron saint of mistaken identities.

JESUS IS the intercessor of your prayers. HE takes your prayers directly to GOD. JESUS is all you need. No saint is above JESUS. To pray properly you pray to the FATHER and end your prayers in; IN YOUR SON'S PRECIOUS, HOLY NAME, JESUS. I hope this has helped. Blessings
