My uncle says that he made up cinnamon toast.
That it was his idea.

The way to make it this way is,

Butter a peice of bread.
Spinkle some sugar and cinnamon.
Put it in the toaster, And then Walla!

cinnamon toast.

Who all knew about this?

Yes...many of us have known about this all of our lives..however...I didn't know how to do it by buttering the bread and putting the cinnamon and sugar on BEFORE you toast it...so ...maybe your Uncle DID invent doing it this way.

I have known about cinnamon toast all my life!
I think your dear uncle is teasing you !!
I wish I had an uncle ~ especially if he would tease me. I love to be teased !!!

Here is a recipe for your toast
Cinnamon Honey Butter
***************************
1 stick of unsalted butter
3 tablespoons of honey
1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon powder

* put the stick of butter into a medium-sized bowl, let it come to room temperature
so you can mash it easily with a spoon or a
spatula, mix in the cinnamon, and then mix
in the honey ~ spread it on your hot toast !!

* pack it into a small jar and keep it in the
refrigerator to use whenever you wish
* it is good with hot cereal in the morning
* it is good on scones for afternoon tea

Unless you put butter on the toast before you sprinkle on the sugar and cinnamon it'll fall off when it goes in the toaster.

yes, i've known about this quite a few years now, it's very delicious, but maybe your pop never heard of it and came up with it on his own, not realising it was already invented, but no he was not the first to come up with this idea
