Co Monaghan is in the Republic of Ireland. Not Eire as such - Eire is a state that doesn't exist since the anglo irish agreement - as stated in the dail not so long ago by SINN FEIN no less.

Why don't you put up a notice in your local supermarket. Only people who are committed to staying there would be looking for long-term accommodation there.
