I get the impression (as a person born, brought up and resident in England) that our Scottish Government wants to destroy England not just Christmas! But you are right in that they are trying to ban public displays relating to Christmas whilst funding Ramadan, Rosh Hashana and Diwali displays!
But we have 10's of 1,000's of Polish Catholic immigrants arriving every month so they will probably be able to protest (as an immigrant minority group they will be listened to).

it was a think tank not a government plan. i am sure there are other think tanks that will say that Christmas is important. besides big business will love it if if was to become like valentine's day. present giving and be celebrated after a hard days work.

People of different religions can think what they want, if they wanted to move to England then they have to acept what we celebrate and believe. I don't now for sure, but i don't want it to die!

Labours think tank, how much money do these people get paid for coming up with such daft idea's ? they should pay me i can come up with lots of even more stupid idea's !!! If the Labour party take this thinking on board, then Britain is finished and no longer a country with its own mind.

This was a New Labour think tank. Shows you what sort of moron they have advising them. They should go to a Muslim country and tell them they must now have Christmas celebrations. We are the laughing stock of the world.

Will never happen. Manufacturers and retailers have too much to lose. It's only some government-sponsored think-tank that has suggested it. Government wouldn't dare.

That depends. If it's a traditional family gathering type holiday, then maybe. If it's the multi-cultural celebration of commercialization it has become in the US, then maybe not.

Yes its part of my Grand Labour Scheme. We wish to turn this racist country into a great Islamic State. Then we can have it ruled by 3rd worlders. We will eventually turn this country into the old Yugoslavia. Christmas is a racist holiday it needs to be done away with it offends people.
