Symptoms:
1. The outside eye lid area feels like its bruised, and its swollen, like i can not open my eye fully.
2. its not crusty, nor is it shut in the morning, which is a common pink eye symptom.
3. when i blink, it hurts slightly
4. my vision is the same.
5. the inside of my eye is not red.


what is it ? should i just wait it out, can i put anything onn it to make it heal faster?

It doesn't sound like conjunctivitis! Could it be a sty? They're easily treated by an anti-biotic ointment.

Since it's the lids and not the eye itself, sounds like it might be a stye.

Library eyes is right, use warm compresses for a few days-just like she said-and if it doesn't clear up see your dr. Most drs won't do anything it you've had it less than a week-they'll tell you to do the same thing & see if that opens the glands.

Possibly a sty or an allergic reaction to something. You may even have something in your eye like an eye lash causing irritation.

could be an internal stye
apply hot, moist compresses as often as possible for a couple of days
(soak a washcloth, squeeze out excess water, microwave for up to 45 seconds depending on microwave power and apply to lid...be careful not to get it so hot that you burn the skin...just as hot as you can stand without burning)
