A Pitbull or a Husky, I mean which is stronger in everything? and lets say that you put the two of them to fight each other, who would have the advantage and win the fight? I am not trying to do anything, its just that me and my friend got into an argument about which is stronger, and I thought I should ask here. BTW, another question I have is which would have a better chance to turn on you to attack you between these two?

I am not trying to start a fight between them or anything, i already said that. The thing is I always thought that the Husky is the strongest dogs, and even though they may not be as powerful as the pitbull, they still have advantages to win over a fight, like speed, stamina, endurance. My friend thinks different, he says that the Pitbull is stronger and better in every way.

The Pitbull = hands down... on all your questions= not a competiton to even think about.
Altho the Pitbull is more versitale and trainable in any sport... the Husky is not an all around dog like the Pitbull.

Dog's don't turn on you for no reason in any breed, unless they are ill physically or mentally, don't think otherwise. I would say Huskies are far more difficult to train for the unexperienced owner though, and are more head strong, but neither breed is suitable for an owner who doesn't train. I think Huskies are harder to handle though and don't take harsh training well at all. Pits were bred to be very non-human aggressive, even if they are dog aggressive they were bred to never harm their owner. I would say if two dogs of both breeds were equally mishandled the Husky would be more likely to turn around and bite their owner. They don't take abuse from a human as well as a Pit Bull. That is why idiots can get away with using Pits as fighting dogs and abusing them, they will take it from them.
Pound for pound I would say the Pit Bull would be stronger if both dogs are of the same size, but remember the Husky was bred for endurance as a sled dog and were know for taking on Polar Bears, so I would put my money on the Husky for that reason. Huskies are scrappy and have more stamina, and are very strong.
BTW, you sure as heck better not be trying to find out in the real world (but you wouldn't do that :) ), I say the above as hypothetical only!!
OMG!!! Bull Terrier type dogs DO NOT HAVE LOCKING JAWS, NO DOG DOES. DO US ALL IN THE DOG WORLD A FAVOR AND TELL EVERYONE THIS IS A MYTH, AND A OVER REPEATED ONE. So everyone learn the truth and spread the word, no dog has locking jaws and Pitts do not have "super doggy strength" bites!!

Pit Bull are stronger definently. I LOVE the pit bull breed. At the local rescue I work with pits all the time. They are the SWEETEST dogs I have met. On the other hand There was a husky mix that was kind of evil.

A pit bull is way stronger they can pull up to like 1,700lbs. A husky is meaner though if that's what you mean. I have a pit/rott mix and he's really strong and sweet. There's a husky down the street from me, meanest thing i've ever seen.

the fighting example is pure crap. they both have their strengths. siberian huskies r very good runners. so if u were to put them in a running contest the siberian would win. however if u were to do a weight pulling contest the pit would win. and as for the othe question. it depends on the individual dog. people will say that its the pit but that is very untrue. the dog that is most likely to attack or turn on u is one that is bought and threw in a backyard and tied up. they arent socialized and probably arent fed on a regular basis. those r the dogs that will turn on u
EDIT: and to k9groomer. pits dont have locking jaws. no dog has the ability to lock its jaw. that is just a myth.

a pitbull is overall stronger and it they fought my money is on the pitbull because a pitbull's jaw bones go all the way to the top of the head, where a huskys only come to the side of the head. and most likely to attack you would also be the pitbull they are unpredictable at times, but not bad dogs.

For your second question ( which one would turn on you first) It really depends on the owner of the dog, If the owner mistreats the dog, the dog is most likely to attack, then if the owner treats it properly.

Pit Bull is by way stronger they are mainly bred to fight (which is very cruel) but they have lock jaw too, Husky's are very strong too they are sled dogs but would not stand a chance against a pit, And once again a pit I believe that there are good and bad qualities in every breed and Not all pits are bad

I hope you are not planning to fight these animals.......but I would say a pit bull....I own one and he is very strong.
