How can you expect us to recognize Israel when you keep telling us that there is no such people called Israelis

My respect to Judaism and to the Jews increase to a degree that I wanted to convert to Judaism, but unfortunately I am getting insults everyday that is making this respect decrease.
Just three days ago, I asked a question "What is wrong with a Muslim marrying a Jew?" and I said that I would love to marry a Jewish man. Then I receieved an aswer from a Jew ...

I recieved a very rude answer from a Jew, bashing the Muslims, Islam, the Palestinains and the Arabs, and when I reported him, the next day my question got deleted.

I try as much as I can to be peaceful, but all my trials are answered by insults.
I don't think there will ever be peace between us. I give up

TAL,

You made my blood pressure increase, thank you.
you answer was even more offensive than Mike's question.
You said in your question, there are no people called Palestinains.

2007-11-04 02:15:41 · update #7

The presence of Palestinains doesn't depend on the presense of a Palestianin state. WE are people, That is a state. We are present before that state.
Just like there were Israelis before the presense of the Israeli state..

I hope you understand what I mean.

I can't ignore rude posts. Whenever there is an opportunity for me to state the truth, I will use it. This is the same as the actual situation. The Israelis want us to surrender to all of their demands and not defend ourselves. If I can't defend my people in real life, I will defend them on the internet.

Mimi don't get so upset, we all do, but it's not worth it. I agree that things are becoming really horrible in this forum. Really, I think that we should all just agree to be more respectful and to not keep arguing about how Israel came to be established.

Everyone is just getting too angry.

"The presence of Palestinains doesn't depend on the presense of a Palestianin state. WE are people, That is a state. We are present before that state.
Just like there were Israelis before the presense of the Israeli state.."

No, the presence of a people do not make a state. What about the Kurds in Iraq? The Armenians in Turkey? The Basque in Spain? The native peoples in America and Canada?
All these are people that are distinct yet do not possess their own state nor does their mere existence imply a state nor does it necessarily entitle them to a state.

BTW, there were no Israelis per se before a state of Israel.

As is the case, the Palestinians are culturally Arabs, no different than their brethren that live in neighbouring states such as Jordan. Since it is convenient, I do accept the modern designation of "Palestinian" to refer to "Arabs who live in the West Bank and Gaza". But there is no such thing as a Palestine.

And for the record, if the bickering and insults on Yahoo Answers really upsets you then I would humbly suggest that you don't participate. You think the bickering is the most vicious things you've seen on the Internet? This is nothing when compared the grand filth that is out there.

Both sides MUST see each others point of view first, before going any further. Without seeing each side as having some valid concerns, the hatred and killing will continue. Both sides must see the other side has a tight to live. The Arabs must sign peace treaties with Israel and acknowledge their right to exist, period. Stop the suicide bombings. Until those stop, there will never be real peace.

There are some idiots on both sides. The true losers complain about Israels attacks killing innocent civilians but think it is OK for the Arabs to kill innocent Israeli citizens, then the Jews bomb the Arabs. The Jews were provoked. I see many Jews seeing the fact that the Arabs feel they were provoked, but I do not hear of any Arabs realizing they are just as much as fault as the Jews. Mostly the Arabs act like they are blameless.

As a historian and a Christian please dont feel sad. When you get an answer like there is no such people as Israelis is because they dont know any better they only listen to propogander and have no mind of their own . They are ignorant and stupid simple minded living in sub third world. Here are some historical facts to show how the Israeli's survived for thousands of years. History also shows and proves the fact that the Israel at no time ever did it refere or belong to the Arab or Palistinians . For 400 years almost the entire Middle East was occupied by the Ottoman Empire ( Turkey) There was no Syria,Iraq,Lebanon Jordan, It was the European powers again because of the influence oil created these countries. In 1948 when the Jews were given back the land of their fore fathers without oil concessions the Arabs protested and attacked Israel , they all had a very short memory and purposely forgetting that they themselves were given land in the exact same way. It is a well known fact to all intelegent people around the world that the word Palistine is derived from the word Philistines. In fact all who lived there Jews,Christians,Arabs Greeks were all called Palistiniansa. There is no Palistinian nation. After conquering the land of Israel the Romans renamed it after the biblical enemies of the Jews. The Philistines who were never ever Arabs but Greek. Again a historical fact the British unlawfully violated the Mandate and instead of giving back the biblical land of Israel back to the Jews who had been living there for thousands of years .In 1922 the British gave almost 80% of the Jewish biblical land of Israel to the Hashemite Arabs now known as Jordan including the West Bank

Sorry, you keep using Jews Vs Arabs. It is more accurate to say Zionist VS Palestinians. Not all the Jews are Zionists and not all the Arabs are Palestinians.
The issue with the Zionist is the right to Palestine to exist. Yet the Zionist are going around saying that the Palestinians do not recognize the right of Israel to exist. When you hear an Israeli leader say that Palestine has the right to exist on Palestinian legal land that would be the day of world peace.

Mimi dear, I am so sorry you feel that way. But, know this, same hateful answers from some Jews do not mean the whole Jewish users here hate you.

Now, rise up your spirit and continue your meaningful contributions to this section. Just ignore the replies that you consider hateful. Cheers and peace.

I find it difficult to understand why an Arab like "Mimi" uses the Israel travel forum to do Israel-bashing and Jew-bashing.

The truth should be obvious to everyone who wants to know it. Arab countries have never abandoned the dream of destroying Israel; they still cherish it today. Having time and again failed to achieve their evil goal with military means, they decided to fight Israel by proxy.

For that purpose, they created a terrorist organization, cynically called it "the Palestinian people" and installed it in Gaza, Judea, and Samaria. How else can you explain the refusal by Jordan and Egypt to unconditionally accept back the "West Bank" and Gaza, respectively?

The fact is, Arabs populating Gaza, Judea, and Samaria have much less claim to nationhood than that Indian tribe that successfully emerged in Connecticut with the purpose of starting a tax-exempt casino: at least that tribe had a constructive goal that motivated them. The so called "Palestinians" have only one motivation: the destruction of Israel, and in my book that is not sufficient to consider them a “nation" -- or anything else except what they really are: a terrorist organization that will one day be dismantled.

In fact, there is only one way to achieve peace in the Middle East. Arab countries must acknowledge and accept their defeat in their war against Israel and, as the losing side should, pay Israel reparations for the more than 50 years of devastation they have visited on it. The most appropriate form of such reparations would be the removal of their terrorist organization from the land of Israel and accepting Israel's ancient sovereignty over Gaza, Judea, and Samaria. That will mark the end of the "Palestinian people."

And only then will peace be achievable.

There can only be a Modern State of Palestine if there is also a correspondening Mondern State of Israel. That is my only point. As to whether you want to convert to Judaism - that should not be dependent on your interaction with people on the internet - but from a searching of your inner-self - your soul for another way of putting it. Again I would tell you to look at my other questions on this matter http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Ar4bp32QE.qX4qosHhNGAf7sy6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20071104064112AARuIz6

Your people, the Palestinians, are always trying to kill off the Jews that's why no one likes Palestinians

Get used to the feeling of being hated and violence directed towards you, especially if you want to be a JEW

The hatred in this world sickens me. Parents actually teach this hatred to their kids (and i really can't understand that). It's not limited to the Jews and Arabs either. While I find myself with some biases, I go out of the way to keep them from my children.

You religious bigots (and you know who you are), ask yourself this question. Do you actually think YOUR GOD will commend you for preaching hatred. Will YOUR GOD reward you for killing non believers. If you actually think the answer is yes, then YOUR GOD must he a real Schmuck.
