Sodom and Gomorrah was destroyed because their wickedness. The Bible only speaks of the men who wanted to know the guest and to come in and show hospitality. That we may know them, did not pertained to rape. The emissaries, called angels, were sent to warn Lot of the impending danger.

LIES!!! The Sodomites wanted to know the strangers. The strangers wanted to spent the nigh in the main street of Sodom, but Lot pressured the visitors to come to his house! These angels knew where was the action in Sodom!
