Hippies are first and foremost all about PEACE & LOVE (and not all hippies do drugs).
God is Love.

Of course God loves Hippies! He loves ALL of His Children, even His Flower Children. Drugs were just a cheat means of approaching spirituality. And you forgot about our love of nature and the ecology.

Of course he does, my husband was a hippie, I think he was born to it. It is a philosophy, and what you have said is true. He was a responsible caring soul who provided by hard work for his family. The only law he broke was smoking cannabis, which I believe is God given for winding down. He wore his hair in a braid that ended below his belt, He died after 58 years of kindness and love.

But, hippies also practice free love, and Christians are very much against this, so it would follow that their god would also be against this. Therefore, the Christian god would send all unrepentant hippies straight to Hell.

God loves sinners but that does'nt mean he loves sin!! hippes are all about peace and love but some times the way they carry about these things is just not right!!! God's people are guided by principles and when u divert from these principles even if you're after peace and love, it does'nt make things right!!

Not only does God love hippies he loves murderers, rapists,thieves. He hates what they do but God is LOVE. Jesus went to heal the sick and save the wicked. Unconditional love is what we are all to strive for.
