As a teenager I had a transcendent experience after visiting St David's cathedral on holiday I had a terrible and frightening experience caused by an illness that wasn't to be discovered until 12 years after this. Although not a Christian I prayed for guidance. I think God replied by giving me a transcendent experience that happened hours later in my grandmother's house. The room suddenly became much lighter, I felt a complete absence of time and a complete sense of serenity. I saw everything in the room in great detail all at the same time, I seemed to be everywhere in the room all at once and I experienced love permeating everything in the room. This was not an emotion, physical sensation or idea but more a state of being. I understand this as experiencing God. I didn't see or hear anything. I think the spiritual part of me was experiencing God and that part is the greater part of me. I believe in this experience God revealed itself to me and God revealed me to me. I believe that I like everyone else am part of God.

Depending but if we saw God while we were alive with our eyes we would be scared to death. literally.
But you need to see him with your heart because that is the "Good" eye you could say.
If you do not see him with your mind but do with your heart then you are in denial. Or in a case with your mind and not your heart then you are subjected to a hypocrite.
You will see God with all 3 if you see him through first your mind and heart when you die

I see God through my spirit because I now realize that God is inside all of us no matter how we perceive him. The higher power inside all of us is just waiting for us to get in touch with the mind and body. You don't need a church or temple to do this, however some prefer to do it that way and that's OK too. Whatever means you need to get in touch are good.

you can defiantly see god just by looking around god is the sand on the beach and the crabs that crawl around on it, all things had to come from somewhere. faith and love come from your heart so you know god is there also god just makes you feel good. god is also in your mind, god gave us free will and when you are choosing between right and wrong it's god trying to lead you down the right road. god is everything that is good in your life,if your life isn't going quite right that was your choice and only you can change

God is a concept...not an actual person, or visual aspect.
God is a belief...and with that..you really don't "see" God....you feel God....as a presence in your life.
Some may say the "see" God with their heart...for me...God is a presence in my whole body and God walks with me always.
you need to find your own answers to the question, and you can only do that by being comfortable in the place that you are,,,by being comfortable, I don't mean rich or sitting on a nice sofa....I mean being comfortable with who you are, and that you are a good person. God will be a presence for you to have comfort given to yourself, and God will listen when nobody else is seeming to do so.
You need not go to a specific Church to be "nearer to thee", but you do need to believe.

The Holy Scriptures say that no man has ever seen God. To "see" implies with the eyes. To "know" is entirely different and possible.

Last time I checked, the mind was a non-tangible and therefore incapable of photon reception and thus incapable of seeing, and the heart has no photo receptors.
And strangely, this supposedly existing deity has never been seen by anyone's eyes.
Makes you wonder why people believe there's actually a deity.
