Then that must mean the phophet has been around since time immemorial (at least since the earth was formed--:Genesis 1:2)

Tuberroot: You are a loving Christian and I enjoy your comments but I can't equate the holy spirit as being a part of a trinity.

What any Muslim who would say such a thing would be saying is that they don't really know God. The Holy Spirit is not a man. The Holy Spirit is God. So unless they are prepared to say that Muhammed is God, they ought to refrain from saying such things. Otherwise, they really don't mind blaspheming God.

But then, I have found that logic evades those who really don't know God in the first place.

Blessed is the one who understands.

Do Muslims actually believe this? It's a pretty big "if", since the scripture you mentioned is part of "The Book", as Islam describes the Bible.

Islam came 600 years after christ. Mohammad recieved his god from the Meccans whom he wiped out cuz they would not believe he got his god from them. islam is just as pretentious as christianity when it comes to forcing belief and compliance under penalty of death and dismemberment.
