people are working more and more hours to make sure that they keep their job these day and so companies can profit from fewer people doing more work

many people who work stressfull long hours can suffer from some type of depresssion, which can ultimately cause death from suicide

should bosses be held criminally responsible for these deaths if these people didnt want to work all these extra hours but were forced to so they wouldnt lose their job?

Work does not equal depression. If it did then everyone that works would be depressed. I'd say that they are not depressed in the first place. They may have some medical problems, sleep apnea for one can drag a person down and i know that for a fact since it has been a problem i have had for many years. Never got "depressed" though. They surely have psychological problems in that they most likely have a lot of irrational beliefs in which they "depress" themselves with.

No i do not believe companies should be held accountable for that. But i do believe that more companies should be aware of the problems of their employees and aid their employees with problems.

about 5 years ago, I started to fall into a really depressive episode. At first I thought it was only because I had a bad break from a relationship but the feelings wouldn't go away even after I got a new girlfriend. It was wrecking my life until a point where it was seriously affecting my work and personal life.

She was very worried but at the same time couldn't understand why I was still sad and thought that I still couldn't let go of my previous relationship. Being the wonderful person that she is, she put aside her feelings and suggested I go for psychiatric evaluation. Many months later and even more anti-depressants, I was not coming close to being better at all.

After doing some research online, I found out the real cause as you described it really makes a lot of sense and purchased this program. The results were simply astonishing. I read this book over three times and put all words in action. Using this method, I've kept my depression at bay ever since. Up to date I'm still living happily with my girlfriend.

Depression Free Method?

in a way they actually should realize that jobs cans be too stressful if it's so much for someone to take on alone or when then person is expected to know how to do things they may not have doen that much. I found I've worked in some places that they expected me the know how to do something before I touched what was in front of me and never felt the thrill or the efforts that it could show if I was only allowed to touch it first.
Stress if often there because of the attitude of the bosses and co workers around us.
There should be something during the week to look forward to like a hour off to spend talking with others, without having to have it be about what project is going on.
and maybe an exercise time after the job is done that if in their building so as not to have to go to gyms or pay for things out of their pockets.
But bosses and maager look at making a buck instead of making people happy.

Nope. Because they don't "have" to work those hours or work at that company. If a job is affecting your health to the point you are dying or considering killing yourself, you should be smart enough to start looking for another place to work.

In this world we have to make our own breaks. Sometimes people take advantage of us and sometimes it is not fair but we are still largely responsible for our own futures.

Good luck.

Peace.

No.

They should be looking for another job. No job is worth destroying your health.
