capnarlo & Magnetic I'm not talking about what's in the Bible but the ATTITUDE of some Christians who appear to be most SARCASTIC in their dealings in particular -the Catholic Church
I have friends and acqaintances like this and I should know
We can have diff opinions and that is rightly so
But there is bigotry here-can't you see?

Plato,
Jude 3 is a commission repeated
Jesus always confronted error, and corrected it
as a christian, if i'm not sure, I can look up the passage to verify what is being said and if what i'm reading is wrong, I correct it.
there is a multitude of people who think they will get to heaven on their trust in Mary to intercede for them. The bible says no one comes to the Father but by Jesus. I point that out and will continue to do so
mormons teach from the book of mormon, written by joseph spauldin (sp) a presbyterian sunday school teacher 100 years before smith was born. Hand writing analysis proves it. Yet they still believe, read the book by the Tanners.
Islam is not credible. it is a combination of religions, the book is not right on a lot of accounts, yet the faithful still blindly follow it instead of testing it like the bible has been tested.
this is not hate, this is tough love,
I'm telling you the truth because a lie will send you to hell for eternity, lost without hope.

I try to not be one of those vehement Chrisitians, but you have to understand - I believe in basic concepts, Jesus is fully God and fully man, born of a virgin, lived a perfect life as an example to us, was persecuted, died on the cross, rose on the third day, ascended into heaven after beeing seen by many, is now at the right hand of the Father.
When others get side tracked on a bunch of details, I take issue with it.
Religion isn't about details, it is about love and accepting the gift from God of forgiveness. That is the basic premise, and I think a lot of people would do well to keep it simple unless asked for details.

Let us then come together and discuss the truth as the Bible lays it out . It is not the parts of the Bible that people do not understand that keeps them from being righteous and obedient. it is the parts of the Bible they do understand that keeps them disobedient. When God says " Thou shalt not......" in the Bible , people understand this , but because they love their sin more than they love God they discount what God says and then if a Christian reminds them of what God says , ("Thou shalt not...") they will call Christians hate mongers . A righteous God loveth righteousness. I am a fundie as many so lovingly call we fundamental Christians , I am not saying I am any more righteous than any one else, but I am saying that there are standards which we must try to live up to . Obedience to God's laws are still required by a righteous God. He changes not. When we see people who name the name of Jesus as their Lord , live and act like the rest of ther world we see the apostacy Jesus and the Apostles warned us about. They said in the last days there would be a great falling away from the truth. Embracing the love of worldly things like love of the body & money ( health & wealth gospels) dressing immodestly like the world, body piercings and tattoos, celebrating halloween , embracing witchcraft (harry potter) ordaining and accepting of homosexuality, worldly music, and no repentance grace only teachings are just a few of the signs that the Bible tells us will happen before Jesus returns. I say out of love to any who will hear , Repent and come to Christ. The hour is late Come to Christ

its not about god or religion its about peoples inability to except others viewpoints as on par with theirs
being able to discuss any subject regardless of what it is fairly and listening to others ideas is what make the good people on here the best ones to listen to not the people who's ideas are the only ones that count
each christian Islamic atheist (whatever) differing views is what makes life interesting
ignore the ones who get up themselves when your ideas are different and just enjoy the knowledge that by ignoring what they say you aren't fuelling their fantasy's that they are Superior to anyone else

To often a discussion of truths turns into an argument of difference. Some people refuse to listen. I am not saying I agree with all the postings of Christians on this site however any contrasting opinions I hold I communicate as opposing the idea itself not the person stimulating the conversation.
To do anything as a Christian out of hate or anger defeats the purpose.
Love one another guys its all He asked.

There is no such thing as a hate filled Christian. If you are a Christian you believe in tolerance, peace, forgiveness etc.

i think the question could be why are their so many hatefull people here? in general not just online in this forum.
but to answer your specific question i guess christians see other views on their beliefs as a bigger danger to their faith than opposing views as they cant argue as fervently about say gods existance they have to actually look at their faith and answer from their instead of the wider view of christianity, it is the personal view of what god says to them by means of the bible and if the passage is the same but the meaning is different for two people their is a possibility of one of them being wrong and no one likes to be wrong especially when it comes to their beliefs.

Do you have an example of your claim?
I get angry when so-called Christians claim things are in the Bible that are not, for example, a prohibition against interracial marriage in the New Testament. I give a thumbs down for that answer because it is incorrect.
Does that make me "hate filled?"
