if so how do I get it through immigration, do i put the memory cards in a baggie so the immigration officer can see thanks . Any advice would be appreciated.

Take the camera, don't worry about xray on memory cards and bring either batteries for the camera or a power converter for your charger.

Yes. There shouldn't be any problem. Digital cameras are not affected by X-rays. Just carry your camera so you don't lose it; put it inside your bag when it goes through the X-ray.

Computers need to be x-ray'd separately, but cameras are no problem.

Tourists often travel with their cameras, so I thought your question was not .. serious. But really, if a country bans visitors from bringing in their cameras, it wouldn't be getting too many visitors..

Of course you can take your digital camera. I can't see any reason that you couldn't put it in your carry on luggage. It's not as if you're carrying anything illegal across the border.

No, you can't take your camera.

If you do, you will be strip searched, tortured and put in a prison camp indefinitely without a trial.
