Back in my college days, my senior year we took a road trip to New Orleans. We were just catching all the coins from the floats at Marti Gras. We were around the French Quarter when a couple on the street were telling people about Jesus. I thought they were weird. They were mainly talking to my roommates. Then the wife asked me the accept Jesus. I told her I was a very nice person. But she said all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. I thought she was nice so I said something like Jesus forgive me. I told her she was doing a great job. When I got back to school, somebody sits right next to me in the cafeteria and tells me Jesus was the only Son of God. I was wondering about all this so that night I said a prayer like this. "God, is Christianity the only way?". As soon as I said that, my heart started stopping. When it did, I felt my soul and something like raw sin in it. I remember saying "forgive me" and it went away. I believed after that. Has anyone had a similar occu?

Wow. That is a great story. Well, my friend had an encounter with an angel, i thought you might like it.

Its pouring rain outside and i mean just thousands of raindrops a second. Rodger was in his car stopped at a redlight. However, this man waved at him to get in his car with this box in his hand so he let him in. The weird thing is, Rodger lived in South Charleston where everyone knows everyone, yet he had never seen this man before. The old man, about the age of 75, always kept on saying how great god is and what he has done for him and that he is a savior and so on. Once they get to the UPS store where he had wanted to go, the man tells Rodger on the way out....."Rodger you should stop smoking, it will kill you" BUT Rodger never told this man his name or that he smoked! He even looked around his car afterwards for anything with his name on it, but didnt find a thing.

That was a coincidence dear.
I can't go half an hour on any given day without somebody blathering about jesus this and god that.
I don't take it to mean that they are anything other than nuts.
I'm not an atheist, BTW, so I figured I'm allowed to put in my two cents...

Yes. I have had what you'd probably call (by your description above) a supernatural encounter with the Goddess Artemis. I won't go into details here, but she told me something that surprised me and changed my life for the better. A lot better.

P.S. AT4life: your friend's car probably reeked of smoke, so he didn't need to tell this guy that he smoked -- the guy could smell it. And if he lived where "everyone knows everyone," it's quite probable that this guy knew Rodger even if Rodger didn't know him.

amazing.
yes, I've have many many occurrences with the living God.
He has spoken to me a few times, in my head.

I once wanted to die. I would never kill my self but I wanted death to stop my pain. I was sick-I was so weak, no one could figure out why, my dad had just died and my mom looked to me for strength which I did not have, my child was just diagnosed with a life long disability and I was crushed. I was driving in my car crying. Asking God to just take me to stop the pain. I heard a voice, in my head say, "But I have great plans for you!"

I almost wrecked the car.
Life got better.

I have and it seems to me that every where you go that god wants you to except him in to your heart. and Christianity is not the only way to go as long as you believe in him and except him into your heart then you will have a sure place in heaven and if you really want some answers then get a bible and open it to any page(this is weird but it works) and read it and it will help you with things that are going on in your life and if that fails pray to him like he is you father or friend. hope this helps

hmmmmm i LOVE getting lost in the holy ghost i did it once at a revival! But if you need help on whats going on let me axplain

In the begging God* created us to live forever. But when Adam and Eve sinned it spread all trough human all the way trough ever one in the world. So God* sent his only son, Jesus to die on earth for our sins. He poured out all his blood just for you and me.

*John 3:16 for god so loved the world he gave his only begotton son. And whosoever beleavith in him will not perish but have everlasting life.***

Then 3 days later Jesus rose agian. And now he is in heaven building us a mansion.

Well good luck figuring every thing out!
