Its not addicting. thats a myth.
Also it is not bad...the government just has schools and commercials make you believe that.
Cannabis also doesnt damage the brain. the only brain cell it kills is called the Glioma Cell which is the only cell in the brain to turn cancerous. It's also not used by the brain to carry out any taske or make you feel and sensation, its not used.
And yes, while inhaling ANY smoke its harmful to some extent, cannabis smoke, from the plant matter and THC trichomes does not cause any cancer in a living cell. and even that can be eliminated by using a smoking device called a vaporizer or baking the cannabis in something and eating it, thus making it harmless.

I don't believe it is all that bad although like many commonly abused substances the abuse aspect can be debilitating. The bad points are mild alteration in reality perception, distortion in emotional states (think paranoia or enhancement of insecurities), lowering of motivation, and disruption in speed and organization of thought processes.
(It can make you feel stupid and lazy but by the same token no pun intended it can allow you to perceive relationships and concepts in an alternative view).
I do not believe it is a physically addictive substance although psychological addition is common. It is unclear how the abuse of the substance can affect the developing mind-consciousness and thus it is unclear how the use of the substance by people still in the formative stages can cause or contribute to the formation of personality disorders.

It isn't addicting. There is nothing in marijuana that is proven addicting. It isn't SO bad. The government just wants you to believe it is. Why not do a project on how cannabis helps?

who ever said it was bad. it can be bad if abused daily. but people also use it for its medicinal properties (cadarac, cancer, medition) i think that if everyone smoked a blunt joint or bowl atleast once a day, the world would be a much better place to live. right now George Bush should smoke a joint and reconsider the war in Iraq! if Bill can do it so can you Bush!

If you smoke enough, just like with alcohol, your judgement gets impaired. I just don't think the government knows how to control it so they can tax it, so they made it illegal. Yes, do a report on the medical benefits.

The government also only doesnt like it because think how much money they lose if someone starts off with something light like ciggarettes then starts to get into heavier drugs (cannabis not being heavy but on it's way there) they lose all of the money that person would be spending on ciggarettes, see what i mean? hope this helps

cannabis is usually the first drug teens take, and most of the time it leads to other harder drugs such as cocaine, anthetamines etc etc, though some people smoke it for benefical purposes, to help with pain, ME or MS etc etc, i dont think cannabis is as dangerous as some peeps like to make it out to be, i find it a very pleasent way to relax and unwind, i on occations have the odd joint, for that purpose :)
