Set up a direct debit from your UK account. If you are closing your UK account then you can pay on line but you would need to set up the system before you go.

make sure that you tell the bank that you are going away so you card works fine and before you go make sure that you are set up for telephone banking correctly and that you are able to make bill payments over the phone and you can do it that way. just make sure that you get the international numbr for the telephone banking

I think if you go to live in America you must pay the Balance off.Or perhaps pay it through bacs.
