Misinterpretation!

The Holy trinity!
The father, the son, and the Holy ghost.
Oh, that means he is all of the same!
NOT!
Blame the Catholics for the inability to write their own religious book.
And because ALL Christian religions stem from the Catholic faith, then they are ALL equally wrong!

Nick,
The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit being one God is simple to understand when you are a born again Christian. The Holy Spirit confirms to you the veracity of the Trinity.
The things of the Spirit can be understood only by the Spirit. Jesus told the Pharisees about how He could place his hand in front of them and they wouldn't see it due to their spiritual blindness.
You may ask many questions about the Bible and it's fine that you do. Until you acknowledge Jesus as your only mediator between you and God you would not be able to understand spiritual truths.
The Y!A community has given you many good scriptures. We can give you an encyclopedia and scientific facts of the Bible veracity. There is also the opposite side that 'proves' the Bible wrong.
It gets to the point that YOU have to ask God to reveal the truth to you. Ask wholeheartedly with an open mind, and you will find a lot more than just answers: a lifestyle and a relationship with the Only One God creator of the universe we live in.

The teaching of the Qur'an is that God, Allah, has no children. The teaching of the Bible is that Adam was a child of God, that the angels are God's heavenly children, and, finally, that God has a firstborn son.
This son who is mention as the firstborn in Psalm two, and in the NT is because of having been created in heaven as God's firstborn and only begotten son, a god, small capital letters.
The Bible also permits the word god to be applied to the sons of God and even to humans. Of course, this never means that the tittle Almighty is conferred on these.

Before i answer your question, lets analyze if GOD is required and if HE is then what can GOD be and what not...
1) If i were to program in C Language a very COMPLEX program, but forgot to end the program with a ; (semi-colon)
Will it work???
If i leave it for a million years, and NOBODY is allowed to TOUCH it, will it AUTOMATICALLY EVOLVE a semicolon and start executing itself?
2) Human beings 'design' and 'fabricate' things, which DONT EVOLVE by themselves. The CAR did NOT evolve from the Bike... The Rocket did NOT evolve from the Aeroplane. Each time we invented something, there was great 'design', precise 'engineering' and accurate 'calculations' involved'.
Will these EVOLVE by themselves, if there was NO CAUSE that initiated it?
THE CAUSE HERE IS THE HUMAN MIND, THE HUMAN TOUCH OR IN SHORT AN EXTERNAL 'CREATOR' WHO IS DIFFERENT THAN THE CREATIONS.
The Entire Universe, without a CREATOR???
Almighty GOD is ONE, call HIM by any name. But it should be a Beautiful one WITHOUT any Mental picture.
What we say that there is ONE GOD means HE is the same GOD for Muslims, Christians, Jews, Hindus, Athiests, Buddhists and all mankind.
Because GOD is ONE and for all mankind.
Therefore, if you say ALLAH, ELI, ELIAH, BRAHMA, all refer to GOD. We can best understand this from the Hindu Scripture example.
Hindus say GOD is Brahma. Which if translated into English means 'The Creator' and if translated into Arabic means 'Khaliq'
Therefore if you call Almighty GOD as 'The Creator' OR 'Khaliq' OR 'Brahma' it is ONE and the SAME.
BUT...
The trouble arises when the Hindus ascribe features to GOD that are NOT worthy for GOD. For example, they say Brahma is the GOD who has 10 heads, so and so hands, etc...
And this goes against the fundamentals of Islam, Judaism and Christianity (As per the Gospel of Barnabas) and even True Hinduism itself (Vedas are against this)...
Therefore, All religions speak about Monotheism BUT the True essence of Monotheism has now remained in Islam only as...
1. The Church has fabricated the Trinity and mis-lead the Chirstians from the True message of Jesus Christ (Peace Be Upon Him)
2. The Hindus do NOT read the Vedas and practice Idol worship which is against their own scriptures.
Ponder on GOD's various creations...
Does it NOT need a Creator?
Notice 'a' Creator... Because if it were 2 they would have definitely disagreed on something and such a disagreement will mean DEATH for all Creation... As they would fight and destroy things...
So what do you think about 3,4,5... 1000s Creators??? Is is feasible???
NO Organization can survive on 2 Final Authorities... The ENTIRE UNIVERSE surviving on 3, 1000s such so-called GODs???
Therefore, your heart will come to the conclusion that there is ONLY ONE GOD...
Can the CREATOR be similar to HIS Creation???
If we ascribe him human features, why cant HE be like a Dog or a rat???
Therefore, we have to accept that the CREATOR is NOT like HIS creation...
What does this CREATOR want from us???
Of course, the CREATOR wants us to 100% submit ourselves to HIS command...
Why???
If you dont follow the instructions of the designer of your TV, you will misuse it and spoil it...
THis CREATOR has the right to demand us to accept what HE asks us to do and what not to...
So follow HIS instruction manual which HE sent throughout the ages to guide mankind...
HE sent this message to Adam, Noah, Abraham, Jesus Christ, Moses (Peace Be Upon Them All)....
Each time HE sent a message, it was for a limited time and ONLY for those people... Till he sent the Last and Final Message that CONFIRMED the Authenticity of all the previous revelations and laid the foundation of moral, ethical, spiritual society...
The call to accept self-responsibility of your sins and be accountable for that...
The call towards REAL salvation...
The Last and Final Message of GOD...

You muslems discredit anything the Bible says to show that Jesus was the Son of God.
It's very convenient to say that this was added or that was added, but the koran was written 800 years AFTER the Bible was written by a man who hated Christianity, and so of course, the words of the koran will try to say the Bible is a lie!
With that in mind, I will show you, and if you have an honest and open heart, you will see the truth. If not, it's YOUR problem!
Jesus asked his followers, "Who do you think I am?" One of them said "You are the anointed Son of God" Jesus said "You are right!"
A crowd wanted to stone Jesus for blasphemy against God. He asked them "What did I do that you want to stone me for?" The crowd said "Not for what you did, but for what you said. You, being a man, made yourself out to be equal to God."
The Jewish high priest asked Jesus, "Are you the son of the Living God?" Jesus said "It is as you said." The high priest tore his robe and cried out "BLASPHEMY!"
Should I go on and mention that Jesus forgave sins, something which only GOD can do? Should I mention the demons that had to obey Jesus? Should I tell of all the miracles that Jesus did that only GOD can do?
Learn the Truth and believe the Truth, and then you'll be in a good position that the Truth can set you free. (Jesus said "I am Truth." He went on to say "NO man comes to the Father but through ME" "I am the door to the gatefold." "My sheep hear my voice" and "I am the good shepherd", and many other such statements that indicate that HE thought He was some kind of diety! He even said, "You believe in God, now also believe in me." and "When you've seen me, you've seen the Father."
So, in the words of CS Lewis, let's not patronize Jesus by calling him merely a good man or prophet. With all that he said and did, either he was the Son of God, or he was a lunatic on the same level as someone who thinks he is a poached egg!"

Because many verses in the Bible say that Jesus is the Son of God. Here are some, including the own words of Jesus:

In the gospel of John it reads:" In the beginning was the word and the word was God. Everything was created by him..and the word became flesh and dwelt among us"
Jesus called himself, "I am" which was in reference to what God told moses his name was-"Tell them I am sent you". The all knew what this meant.
Jesus said, "the father and I are one"
Jesus said he "was" before the foundations of the world. He said he was alive when Abraham was around.
Jesus healed the sick, made the blind see, forgave sins,and rose the dead. Who does this sound like to you?

Read your Bible Jesus does say He is the son of God. like " I and the Father are one"

Jesus was crucified due to the fact He called Himself God. This is the very reason they killed Him. Fear and accusations of blasphemy. (Before Abraham was, I AM"....and many more).
