How can I put this politely.
ME is an abortion of an operating system, even Microsoft apologised for releasing it, though I dont remember them handing out refunds !
I would suggest you consider ditching it altogether and getting XP Home Edition.
If your PC can run ME I would say its almost certain it is capable of running XP.

you need to clarify what device you need drivers for. windows 98 drivers may work, but 2000, xp and vista likely won't.
