Work in marketing in an FMCG MNC. Want to work in the developmental/ngo sector in an organization where I can use my skills in an organization which helps communities/individuals to set up and run businesses.

Start at www.idealist.org, as this will give you an idea of what is out there. If you are in the US, you can check with the Small Business Administration, www.sba.gov. They have a network of services that includes funding/association with non-profits that do what you want to do. For instance, in my city there is a Women's Business Development Center that helps women-owned businesses get funding and learn how to best run their companies. I'm sure there is an equivalent in other countries.

There are also economic empowerment organizations--I would suggest going to www.guidestar.org and searching for organizations in this sector, as well as economic development boards (there are boards in every state).
