OMG - that's is a huge NO! Aspirin does NOT make you thinner (or fatter). If taken improperly you can cause real problems to your stomach lining. People 21 and under should never take aspirin for any reason.

The aspirin rumor keeps on circulating and I am not sure why.

Think of it this way - the weight loss industry is a huge multi-billion (yes, billion) dollar a year industry, with each one trying to find that magic pill that will actually help us lose weight.

Now if aspirins actually helped us loose weight don't you think that one of these companies would have jumped all over it to make a fortune?

Aspirins used correctly can have good benefits but if they are used inappropriately they can be harmful. Next time someone tells you that there is a pill to lose weight--look around. If you see any other products still be sold for weight loss then you know that the pill doesn't work otherwise it would put all the other comapnies out of business.

Aspirin doesn't do either. I have taken aspirin (lots of aspirin) all my adult life (for a very legitimate reason, not a fad). Sure hasn't changed my weight any. Don't believe everything you hear. With so much information so readily available via internet, no one should buy into these hair brained ideas, anymore. Just google it, and find out the facts.

Asprin thins your blood which means if you have an operation they may not be able to stop the bleeding. I doubt seriously that asprin makes people fat there isn't any fat in it.

this is not true of course. i also have to add that aspirin can cause serious problems to your stomach if it is taken frequently without a doctor's advice.

aspirin thins the BLOOD not the body. Take only recommended dosage.
