We are not divided into different races, we are all of the HUMAN RACE. Regarding ethnicities and appearances, the world would be very boring if everyone looked and acted exactly the same.

God didn't divide us into different races; our historical and geographical circumstances gave each of us particular physical and cultural characteristics, and when enough people can be found to identify them as having a particular set of characteristics, they are classed together as a race. Race - a non-scientific term, really - is the result of the evolutionary process of mankind & its geographical dispersion.

Because God loved color. The sky is blue, the clouds are white or gray when stormy. The planets are an array of different colors.The seas , oceans and lakes are different shades of blue and green. The grass is green. We have the different seasons, that have their different colors. Animals and birds etc, are different colors, Fish are different colors. God made a very colorful world. So when it came to humans, He decided to make them of different races, And all of those races are colorful and beautiful. What a dull world this would be if everything looked the same

Look up in Genesis or Exodus about the Tower of Babel - people wanting to build a tall building to get "closer to God" but the Lord separated the people, because this was not what He wanted, sending them out into lands far afield and causing them to speak different languages!

God didn't divide us into different race : we divided ourselves intot different races, a question of adaptibility to different environments and also intermingling.

He didn't we did. We are the ones who make a big thing out of the fact that people from different parts of the world have different colour skin.

Islam recognizes no man-made artificial distinctions based on color, tribe, race, nationality, or otherwise. As all people come from the original couple-Adam and Eve-they are all one family and therefore equal before God
. What distinguishes people from each other is their commitment to Islam: "The most honored in the sight of Allah is (he who is) most righteous." (Qur'an 3:86).

He enjoys variety.
There are over 200 types of ferns.
If He goes to that trouble just for the lowly fern, certainly He will show variety in human races.

Read the 11th chapter of Genesis which explains the Tower of Babel.
And they said, "Come let us build ourselves a city, and a tower whose top is in the heavens; let us make a name for ourselves, lest we be scattered abroad over the face of the earth."
Genesis 11:4
Men were trying to exalt themselves. For this reason God said;
"Come, let Us go down and confuse their language, that they may not understand one another's speech." So the Lord scattered them abroad from there over the face of the whole earth. And they ceased building the city.
Genesis 11:7-8
