I have a Timex WR50M (cheap watch), which is from their 1440 sports series. I went to their web site and tried to find the instructions (lost mine), but the one that seemed to be the closest didn't match. Do I have to buy a new watch?

Just figured it out...press the mode button for about 3 seconds. That will take you the alarm, but if you press it again it will take you to set the time. Use the adjust button to change the number and the start/stop button to move from hours to minutes, etc. When you're finished, just press mode again.

This happens to me all the time. The anwer is logical, but I always forget. I am in the process of trying to re-set, but I do know that if you call the Timex help line, they have the answer b/c they have given it to me before.

Go through this site. The detailed instructions to adjust exactly your kind of watch are given. My son has the same kind of watch. After searching for many days, I finally found the below link to adjust the time in his watch. Hope this helps.
