There is "no right" age to start dating. Some people start when they are 16 ; some 60. My son was a quarter of a century old before he had a girl and only then because she made a B-line for me. If you don't want any trouble then stay clear, although my husband was the sweetest person you could wish to meet and never gave me a day's trouble ... but the rest .... wow !
The trouble is, young ladies/men are born without logic, so if you are trying to be logical - forget it ! The above is said a little tongue in cheek but was based on truth and experience. LOL
Look what Hosea said about it : -
Ho 3:1 "Then said the LORD unto me, Go yet, love a woman beloved of her friend, yet an adulteress, according to the love of the LORD toward the children of Israel, who look to other gods, and love flagons of wine."

First why would anyone 11 want to date? But its your question sorry had to ask
Each person matures at a different pace. Studies show that woman usually mature faster then men so there are many things to consider. Do they live in a big city? I know people are going to say what does that have to do with, but unless you come from a small town (I mean small 590 people) you don't know how much that impacts a person life. In a small town there is literally nothing else to do. Bigger towns/cities offer more in the way of pastimes.
all in all if it were my child, I would have to find them things to do other than wanting to date. there will be plenty of time left for that later on

18...I made too many mistakes when I was younger. I started dating at 15. My stepsister started dating at 10 (I know...too young and too dumb). It's best if you learn from other people's mistakes, so you don't make the same ones. I am now in my mid-twenties, and realize I should have waited to have the experience of dating. Oh well, I can't turn back time.

it don't matter how old you need to date . you should start date when you feel comtable or like someone, the earlier you start dating the better it is .when you date , don't be afaird of breaking up and bad dating stuff , the more you date the more experient you get dont be afaid to get bad experient becauce mistake will make you know and so you wont make the mistake again

Depends on the person.... I started at 15
11 is definitely too young!!!!!! My cousin started at 11 and he thinks he's in love... he is going to regret acting the way he does one day... It is worth the wait...
Unless you date keeping the fact that you're 11 in mind...in which case it is fine
