Because Jesus acknowledges the father as a separate entity than himself.

Matthew 24:36: But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

It still confuses me. I still never heard anyone explain the father/son/god thing in any sort of logical way.

Yes you can call Jesus that. And yes you do.

God and Jesus are one and the same. They are in 3 forms God the father, God the son (Jesus) and God the Holy Spirit. The Holy Trinity. They're one but in different roles.

Confused? Don't be. God is the architect, the spiritual head, the beginning, the everything. Jesus is God who came down in the form of man and served as the Savior. The Holy spirit was commissioned to keep stay with us after Jesus ascended.

When you call God the holy father you acknowledge his presence as the head. But if you call Jesus father as well, no harm done, He is God too. Same thing when you call you mum your parent and you call your dad your parent too. You might use mother and father to specify which parent you mean just like you would use God the father and Jesus to specify which spiritual entity you mean. Its just a matter of getting technical.

They are both holy and they are both our fathers.

Its good to have many Fathers.

PS.. if I'm wrong please correct and forgive me, that's just my opinion.
and lets use upper cases for first letter in God and Jesus.

Because Jesus isn't the Father. Jesus is the Son of God.

Jesus, as the son of God, is our holy brother, not father!! If your father procreated and the result was a boy would you call that boy your father or brother? If your father is also your brother then your family has some serious inbreeding problems.

We don't. Christians pray to the Father (not 'holy' - that's redundant) in the name of Jesus Christ, by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Jesus is technically our holy brother, since we share the same holy father.

That is blasphemy. You're going to hell LOL

If God is your father - then Jesus should be like your spiritual brother.
