I've had possibly the worst year ever. Many deaths close to the family, had to leave home for a night, abusive parent, bad luck with guys. I'm only 16 years old. I feel like everything bad is happening to me.

Sometimes it seems that only bad things happen.
Once one or two bad things happen then we are looking out for more.....we expect them.....then we wonder why they only happen to us...and we begin to wonder if we deserve them.
It must have been because of something we've done, we think.
The fact is that bad things happen to good and bad people, nice and nasty people.....and so do good things!
I really hope you have much nicer things happening in your life very soon.
Be a little less harsh on yourself...expect some good...hell, expect a lot of good!

While you are going through the things you must go through, when you look back, later on down the road, you will see that it really wasn't as bad as you thought but no matter what, learn from the bad things as well as the good ones and the tomorrows will be a lot brighter. My sympathy to you and your family for your losses, but even with those losses, there are fond memories. Leaving home (a door opening), the abusive parent (a door closed), bad luck with guys (they probably weren't worth it anyway), only 16 (look at the knowledge and experience you have). Some years can be like that. Bad things happen to everyone, but it does seem that the good people get the brunt of it.
The only advice I can give you is to make sure that future bad things in your life are not self induced. Every day we're faced with choices. so many it's hard to keep track. Make sure that the choices you make in life are the right ones. You're only 16, so what is "right" in your mind may change quite a bit over the next five or six years. But don't take chances that could lead to bad things. That way you can at least reduce the amount of bad stuff you have to deal with.

The Question "why do bad things happen to good people?" Is because by logic they should be rewarded. Hypothetically anyway ! SO bad things DON"T happen to bad people is a total misnomer, the grass looks greener at a distance, although it still has weeds & animal/bird poop. Bugs and crawling things diseases as well as fungi's/fungus. It only looks like fun... Guy ! From a distance. The real Question your asking, is do I give myself permission ! To be a GOOD human as best I can. Or join the Perception of wicked for the imagined reward. That is till your double crossed over money by your peers and and slowly butchered. Or luckily die in a hail of bullets quickly. Good people may at times die in collateral proximity. But generally have much better fulfilling & rewarding lives. Fact is there are more Good people than bad in the World, or we would all be dead ! SO ! Heads or tails ?

Don't forget maybe death is a good thing.
Okay, since I'm a catholic, I believe that when you die you reunite with God.
And besides, death is natural stage of life, it's not that you are bad or whatsoever.
Just keep praying and perhaps, look on the bride side of everything.
Remember, they say 'every cloud has a silver lining' and 'at the end of a rainbow lies a pot of gold'.
And it's not that you're bad, i would like to once again say.
Unless, well, uhm, you do stuff that are against the law or are mean towards people?

Bad things happen to both good and bad people,honey..It happens mainly because there are some situations we can't get a hold of or maybe because we made wrong decisions, lack faith, lack perseverance, or sometimes we get to think that we ourselves are in a pitiful situtation--but in truth,everything and everyone goes into that point wherein bad things just keep pouring in. All we have to do is to brace for more because it either gets worse or it wanes all by itself.Have faith, do good, ROCK ON!!

I dont believe bad things happen to bad people, otherwise evil in the world would be a lot less.
and because bad things happen to good people as well, unfortunately.
its only how we think that gets us in trouble, try to be a little bit more positive and good things will happen ^_^

girlfriend ive been there.just slowly make it better all of the bad things make you a strong and better person in the end,just start making your life better with a job or school then you'll meet new friends or potential boyfriends.

I lost someone who was dearly to me and all he did on his life was fight for people's right and poor people.
