Suppose I ask you tht there is an object for instance lets say an Unidentified flying object which no one in the world has seen,no human being in this world knows about this object and if it is brought in front of you and I ask you who will be the first person to tell the mechanism of this object which no one in the world has seen. After you hear my question you might say the person who would no about this object is the creator, manufacturer or producer or whatever .
Now I have some more questions:
1. How did the universe come into existence? –You will say the “The Big Bang Theory”. When did we find out about it , you will say recently , recently in terms of science is 30yrs,50 or 100yrs. The quran speaks about the Big bang theory 1400 years ago. The bible also speaks about the big bang theory but has many unscientific points in it such as the earth was formed bfore the sun where as science tells us earth Is part of the parent body which is the sun, the light was existed before the source of the light, the bible also says the vegetation was created on the third day and the sun on the fourth day how can the vegetations be created before the sun which is the source of their energy, But the quran does not make any such false claims. For more light on this subject pls aquire a vcd of the debate The quran and the bible in the light of modern science-between Dr.Zakir naik and Dr.William Campbell, Dr.William Campbell is the author of the book The bible and the quran in the light of history and science in which he alleged the quran to be unscientific and plagiarisation, which have all been proved false in an open public debate and none of the wrong things in the bible was proven right. Then Dr.Campbell agreed to not have any answers for them.
2. The moon is reflected light it is not its own light, science found that out around may be 50 yrs or 100yrs ago but the quran speaks about it 1400 yrs ago, who could have wrote it in their. Many ppl say that Aristotle wrote about it way before the quran but this topic is also covered in the debate.
3. We thought the sun was stationary, but recently we found out that it rotates and revolves around not more than 20 yrs ago, but the quran mentions this 1400 yrs ago. Who could have mentioned this in the quran?
4. How was the universe initially , Any person with knowledge would say it was smoke, the quran mentions it was smoke 1400 yrs ago.
5. The quran also says that there is an unseen barrier between salty and sweet water which is forbidden to be tresspassed(meaning the salty water though flows into the sweet they do no mix), science found this out 1400 years later.Who could have mentioned this in the quran?
6. Quran says that iron was flown from the heavens, science tell us that to create one atom of iron we need the energy or around 4 galaxies like ours hence stating Iron is an extra terrestrial metal. Who coud have mentioned this in the quran ?
These are only 5 or 6 of the points which I mentioned above from more than 1000 verses in the quran which speak about science. Established science doesn’t conflict with anything the quran has to say. For more info on what the quran has to say about science science pls purchase the vcd The Quran and Modern science- Conflict or conciliation by Dr.Zakir Naik. It is a 5 disc set of vcd’s and scientifically gives an explanation of the verses in the quran.
Let us talk about the theory of probabilities
If you have two choices out of which one is right , the chances that you will make the right choice at random is one in two.For example if I toss a coin it can either be heads or tails, the chance that I will be rite will be one in two, if I toss it twice the chances that I will be right both the times will be one upon two multiplied by one upon two tht is one upon four i.e 25% chance. If I toss it thrice the chances I will be right all three time will be ½* ½* 1/2 = 1/8 i.e is 12 ½ % . A dice has got six sides , if I roll a dice, the chances that I will get the side I chose will be 1/6 , if I throw it twice the chances that I will be right both the times will be 1/6* 1/6= 1/36, this is called as theory of probability. If I roll the dice twice and then toss a coin and all three being right will be 1/6 * 1/6 * ½ = 1/72. So I ask the athiest tht the chances of only three of the verses from the thousand verses that speak about signs of god through science is 0.05%, if you apply the theory of probability to all the scientifically proven facts established by science mentioned in the Quran coming right at random is zero or negligible and in math anything 1 in 10 raised to 50 it is equal to zero. So I ask the athiest , who could have written all this , the only answer any person would have is that it is the creator ,Science tells us today tht it is not eliminating “GOD”, science is only eliminating models of God.
For any one to understand the total concept of existence of God pls refer to the VCD – The quran and Modern science –Conflict or conciliation by Dr.Zakir Naik
For ppl who assume the Quran to be plagiarised from the Greeks and The Bilbe pls refer to the vcd The Quran and the Bible in the light of Modern Science between Dr.Zakir Naik and Dr.William campbell.-5 disc set

I am not forcing you to believe what I am saying , Watch the above two vcds and decide for yourself.

dont just write things without knowing anything , those things are there in the quran , The vcd of the topic The quran and modern science-Conflict or conciliation has everything , even the reference to where in the quran all this is said, if u be kind enuf to spend some time do some research and then type that would be nice, u wouldnt be misleading ppl atleast.

quran does no contradict with established science anywhere, it is u ppl who misunderstand it. U probably get all that from anti-islamic websites where all they try to do is maline islam through false accusations just one example one of the guys said joseph saw eleven planets , he saw eleven stars and all the other points have valid explanation.

Look - if anyone can prove science books wrong, the documents change to reflect. Should anyone have indisputable evidence to show Christianity or the Qu'ran wrong, the whole religion gets tossed. That's why the heavy religious brainwashing.

I feel that since all these religions are out there and they are all self-sufficing, the only people getting it truly right are the scientists who are still out there testing and searching. At least they can admit fault.

Let me answer question one point at a time, in the order you present them:

1. The Quran does not mention a 'Big Bang' via the modern cosmological model; rather, it references that the universe was a void without shape until given shape by 'God'. Sorry...not the same thing. Almost every religion states practically the same.
2. Yes, the light from the moon is reflected light...which the Greeks and Chinese figured out BEFORE it is mentioned in The Quran. They had completely non-religious explanations for this phenomenon. If you recall, the countries of the Middle East 1400 years ago actually had a very good grasp of primitive optics and good understanding of astronomy. This was understood scientifically, not because 'God' told them.
3. The Bible, The Gita and early Norsemen also thought the Sun was mobile. As a matter of fact, MOST primitive religions thought the Sun moved. We may have discovered that the Sun is not an entirely stationary, but that doesn't vindicate Islam or any other religion.
4. I have no idea where you get this from. Not one person with even a tertiary understanding of physics or cosmology would say the universe was ever at any point composed of smoke.
5. Again, I don't know where you are getting this from. Every primitive culture that was agricultural in nature knew that salt water and fresh water flowed from separate sources. The Greeks most certainly understood this since they used mass irrigation systems.
6. Iron is an extraterrestrial metal? Have you studied ANY basic science? Iron is an ELEMENT, listed on the Periodic Table. Iron may have formed, initially, outside of the Earth when the Earth was still forming...but so did every other element. There is nothing supernatural about this.

There are two basic flaws in your argument. The first is blatant misinterpretation By viewing a verse and assigning what you WANT it to mean rather than what it DOES mean is complete intellectual dishonesty, although I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you are not inherently dishonest but overzealous. Your second flaw is the assumption is that if you run across a verse that does convey some bit of scientific accuracy, you automatically attribute that knowledge to 'God'...and not to the humans who wrote it. Think about it...every religious text is written by devout believers. Those believers are going to believe that any process they discover or any realization that comes to them about the natural world is because "God sent that knowledge" and never give themselves any credit. Thus, it becomes a vicious circle. You've been conditioned to believe that it is not your intelligence that enables you to understand but rather the 'guiding hand of God'. Since such a position is completely non-falsifiable and utterly faith based, it ultimately becomes useless to even argue the point as you'll never accept any other possibility.

I read about half of it and gave up. A few things that stand out:

Creating an atom of iron does not require the energy of four galaxies.

The universe did not start as "smoke".

It's been known that the sun is not stationary for several centuries. I don't know exactly when it was learned that it rotates, but I know it was in or before the Nineteenth Century - not "20 years ago".

It's been known that the moon reflected the light of the sun at least since the ancient Greeks. Heck, they even knew the Earth was round, and one of the reasons they gave was that the shadow of the Earth on the Moon during an eclipse was round. If they knew it was the Earth's shadow causing the eclipse, what do you think they thought was the light source?

If this is a sample of the "science" in those videos, I believe I'll pass.

Edit: I see. If science contradicts the Koran, then science is wrong. Doesn't that pretty much shoot down your entire question?

I. WHERE in the koran does it mention the Big Bang? And where does it justify it against the:
Shrinking Universe.
Steady State
Multiple Bang
-all perfectly sound positions?
2. Again - WHERE in the koran?
3. Maybe the koran thought the sun was stationary. The rest of us have known it rotates since Galileo observed sunspots.
4. I don't think anybody, except perhaps this hypothetical koran, thought the Universe was smoke.
5. What "unseen barrier"? Where?
6. Science says nothing LIKE the energy of 4 galaxies. That must be in your koran as well.
7. Now I find that this is a long-winded commercial for somebody's propaganda. Should have said that earlier and saved me the trouble of trying to help you.

All of those ideas existed a long time ago. Science isn't claiming to have thought of them recently. Native Americans thought that the world was round.

And when does the bible talk about the Big Bang Theory?

What exactly was your question? It seems you have answered all of your own questions.

The only thing I can add is that we know the Bible fails to record the exact order of the creation of the universe, but you have to remember that the story was carried down thousands of years orally before it was put into writing. I think they got it pretty darn close after all those years. Don't you?

you do make an interesting point...but... like the bible, the quran has been muddled up, taken apart and translated again and again by humans! i have never read it myself (although, i might now) but, have you? the thing with old religion is that it is continually interpreted to have different meaning dependant upon the reader/translator so therefore, unless it actually (literally) says "the moon does not have its own light source" e.t.c. it is obviously the interpretation of a mere mortal, and, studiers of religion are constantly bending the facts to make religious text meet their wants! also, i think you will find, upon further study, that ALOT of ancient civilisations (like the egyptians, for example) had it scientifically right, in regards to what they thought was going on in the world around them and that we today are only RELEARNING what they already knew! food for thought? as you said above, i am not trying to convince you that what im saying is right, but it is always wise to be a little bit skeptical of what others have to say, and even more wise to just read it yourself and come to your own conclusions. :-)

I'd rather believe the actual hard evidence rather than what some religion states and I don't think I'd be the only one to say that.

If I ever have kids, I'd much rather they be taught how the world was actually created rather than some creationist clap-trap, whichever religion it comes from.
