Here is my favorite sandwich.
Take one hard roll or sub sandwich roll. Toast this roll in a broiler for 2 or more minutes till lightly brown.
On a cookie sheet place one half red pepper, tomato sliced, red onion sliced, sliced mushrooms, 1 slice eggplant (optional). Brush with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder lightly. Place under broiler in toaster oven or regular oven. Broil until veggies are nice and tender. Place on paper towels to drain away any excess fluid. Pile veggies on toasted roll. Add black olives and top with a slice of parmigiana and provolone cheese. Place open faced sandwich under broiler just until cheese melts. Enjoy!
You may also have this sandwich with a grilled chicken breast if you desire. There are many options, sandwiches with grilled veggies rock!

THIS IS THE BEST SANDWICH EVER!
Start with a nice big roll type bread, preferable with some spices(Italian herb). Cut it in half and toast it.
Then spread some Bousin(imported cheese) all over the inside of the bread.
Next put some bacon slices on it. Both sides if necessary.
Then put some heated pesto sauce on.
Saute some chicken pieces in some oil with oregano, basil, onions, and garlic. Chicken is best when you brine it for 8 -12 hours before cooking. Brine it with the spices i mentioned above. Brining is when you soak it in salt water. Add the spices to the salt water, but when you cook with those spices use fresh ones.
Put the cooked chicken on.
Put a couple slices of cheese on. I suggest provolone or Swiss, or go crazy and have both.
Put on fresh spinach leaves or lettuce.
Put on tomatoes. If you have time i suggest making some fried tomatoes and using them. You can also serve them as a side dish.
Sprinkle with some salt and cracked pepper.
Add some Parmesan.
Put together and Voila. Best sandwich ever. Serve it with the wine of your choice.
Whatever you do, don't substitute the Bousin. It is the key to the whole sandwich.

The ultimate sandwich in my opinion would be my moms grilled "italian" cheese.
- 2 pieces of sliced italian bread
- 2 slices of provolone cheese on each piece of bread
- 3 slices of genoa salami
- 3 slices of proscuito
- 3 slices of peperoni
- 3 slices of capicola
- 5-6 thinly sliced pieces of sopresato
oil and vinegar to taste
salt, pepper, and a dash of oregano
put em together and throw it in a frying pan or on a George Forman grill and viola! You have the ultimate sandwich...

Turn your oven up to broil, baby! I have a hot grinder for you! (tee hee) Start by slicing a stadium roll and place it on a flat pizza pan. On one side you have sliced cheddar, thinly cut bell pepper and onion. On the other side lay pepperoni, salami, thin cut ham and sliced roma tomato. Broil until cheese is melty and meat is crispy at the edges. Top w/ thin cut lettuce and drizzle with your favorite italian dressing. I like to serve with pepperoncini peppers and those really cold pickle slices cured in garlic. Bring a lot of napkins! (and Fat Tire beer!)

Dagwood Bumstead sandwich:
1 hoagie roll, split
fill with:
Salami, ham, roast beef, cheddar cheese, swiss cheese, lettuce, sliced tomato, mayonnaise, pickles, mustard, ranch dressing, sauerkraut, pickled herring, sliced jalapeno's, and seasoned croutons.
Push it together good so it don't fall apart while eating.
If you find anything else in the fridge, put that in there too.
Good with milk, coke, or beer.
