But....I have small bumps ALL over my tongue. They have spread to the back of my throat. They are making my teeth hurt and my gums sensetive. Let me stress, I have HUNDREDS upon hundreds of redish/white tiny bums EVERYWHERE in my mouth! It hurts so bad, to the point i can't eat.

I am not trying to self diagnos myself, just curious about what it could be...can't get in to see my doc till monday.

Thanks.

P.s. i already said i was going to go see my doc, so please don't tell me i need to see a doc about it, that is a dumb answer.

Thanks.

One possibility is thrush, which is an overgrowth of yeast in the mouth (I know, it sounds gross). That's the only thing that I can think of unless you are allergic to something. There is medicine for thrush, but you should get to the doctor as soon as possible.

" Thrush is a yeast infection that can develop in the mouth and throat and on the tongue. Thrush is most common in newborns, infants, and older adults, but it can occur at any age. Except for the mildest cases, you should treat thrush to keep the infection from spreading. Antifungal medications, which inhibit the growth of yeast, are the standard treatment for thrush. Thrush is most commonly treated with medications that are either applied directly to the affected area (topical) or swallowed (oral)."

Until you can see the doc, concentrate on being as comfortable as you can. I would suggest vanilla milkshakes as being the least irritating form of nutrition or maybe just vanilla ice cream. Get some of that baby teething stuff to numb the pain. Warm salt water swishes might help. Liquid Benadryl mixed with Maalox to swish and spit may help as well.

Hope you get a good answer Monday.

Answer #2 is probably correct. You probably have a fungal infection. The correct term is Candidiasis (Thrush is the common name). It is characterized by a burning mouth feeling. This is because the white bumps peel off (like scabs) prematurely, which exposes raw skin.
