mostly caths'''... a few xtian pastors sport it also..
its required attire for cathies' -no mandatory but considered "uniform"..in their Business... but its not required nor expected of x-tians pastors. Christian (xtian) pastors are mostly in the "JEsus Business" so the dress more business like - usually a suit.

xtian bishops ( such as Bishop T.D.Jakes) wear a cross inside their shirt pocket without the image of a man hanging on it.

Catholic Bishops..wear a cross on the -outside -and usually with the image of a hippy-type guy hanging on it ( the image is a rendition of what Catholics think Jesus looks like.

..Artist Michael Angelo' asked his friend or brother, to pose for it when he painted the sisteen chapel and also when catholics "hired" him to paint a jesus pic.., which was against bible teaching...

10 Commandment : # 2 " dont make any images of anything in heaven"... ( catholics knew their sin, so they actually removed # 2 from the 10 and in their Bibles it is replaced with another,.and # 9 is broken into 2 parts..to make up for it...
study both the KJV ( king james version) and the catholic bible and you'll see how they differ..

Cathies think Jesus looks like one of the old * Doobie Brothers ..lol yea rite..a blond blue eyed hippy guy in Jerusalem ? i dont think so

Depends on the times and fashions. Most protestants use to wear the collar as identification. Then people learned not to put trust in a collar and they seemed to fade away. Even some priests go without it now days, just as some nuns don't wear the habit.

Many Christian clergy wear the collars. Catholics are the most known, but Methodists, Anglicans and Lutherans are among the many who do.
