Yes just about anyone can knock out a person by hitting them on the bottom tip of the chin where the nerve endings are or below the ear where your jaw pivots, there are also nerve endings there. Study pressure points, they help in boxing or in grappling.

There is a nerve on either side of your face that ends in your chin and cheek area that runs directly up into your brain. Because it is such a short nerve and there are very few synopsis (other nerves coming in on it at various nerve centers), it is thought that the brain gets overloaded by the sensation of you being hit and the sudden flood of pain that the brain receives and so it shuts down, causing your body to go limp and collapse. Some people are not affected by this as much as others and this is one of the things they mean when they say, "a fighter can take a punch" or "is going to get his chin tested" A fighter's ability to take a punch is very important and so it does not guarantee incapacitation or even that it will occur if a fighter has a good chin.
As to were to hit some say on the cheek bone, others say just below the cheek bone and back from it slightly, others will say below that and on the lower jaw. In my fights I would try to hit just below the cheek bone and back from it slightly but with gloves on it is hard to hit a moving, dodging, thinking target that is hitting back and hit a spot like that with pin point accuracy and you have to hit them pretty hard unless they can't take a punch.

There are no guarantees some people can take a punch better than others. So that more or less nullifies how hard should you hit there. You just don't know and I doubt many people will volunteer to let you try and find out. Other than that the tip of the chin is often referred to as " the button".

Not always but the best place I have found was on either lower side of the chin or right on the checkbone. As for how hard.....Just think wanting to hit the objet behind them and you have to go through their head first. The checkbone I like better. They have always recieved a concusion from it and use the index and middle knuckles when in a fist you can end up jammin, dislocating or breaking the ring or pinky knuckels alot sooner if they are the primary connectors

Sometimes. What causes a "knockout" is a concussion. What causes a concussion in a hit to the jaw is moving the head quickly back (or to the side).

A knock out has to do with minor trauma to the brain stem. This usually happens when the head rotates sharply. This is Why many of you foot ball players have neck pads to prevent the head from turning, You can do excises to prevent your head from moving when you get hit. Also your stance can help you not get knocked out.

lots of ladies would provide something to be in my place, because it is going to be my ex-boyfriend coming over in somewhat. he's one in all my terrific pals although, so i'd punch him contained in the face for $500. i'd spend the money going to the strip club and getting wasted with him although.
