my mum and dads dog done it while i was there yesterday he has had his glands done and been wormed , any other reasons why they do it ?x

It could be that they didn't get them entirely emptied. Take him back to the vet have them check him out again.

He may have something stuck there, or didn't get all of his poop out and is rubbing it to clean it.
If he continues to do this all the time, Maybe a visit to the vet is in order to make sure there is nothing further wrong.

Sometimes animals do this when they have finished defecating but didn't quite get it all out. They do this as a way to wipe their butts sort of like people do when they use toilet paper.``
