my friend told me that her dog's has been limping on his right front paw for a few days, she checked his paw and leg and could'nt feel any broken bones or see any cuts or blood and she said it is not swollen, any idea's why he is limping? She said if he is still limping after a few more days she is going to bring him in to the vets to get checked, he is a big dog, a malamute/wolf mix and is indoor/outdoor.

Did he check the pads of the paw?
The dog could have gotten a tiny piece of glass or something sharp there that he didn't notice when he checked.
Also, he might have gotten an infection somehow.
Either way, I would take the dog to a vet just to make sure everything is ok.

She should check deep between the pads of the paws - sometimes they get a little thorn from the grass stuck in there. You have to feel for it, since in between there is hard to see. She should run her fingers gently in between the pads on the paws - that little flap of skin should not have any bumps in it, it should be thin and smooth. If there's a little bump, then he has something stuck in there. But yeah, I'd definitely take him to a vet just to be sure!

She should look between his toes, sometimes mine will pick up something outside in the yard, he may have also twisted it while running around and it's sore. But your friend has the right idea, if it hasn't gotten better in a day or so, a trip to the vet as a precaution is a good idea.

given that he's part malamute.. the goofball probably slipped and is sore from the fall. my husky was the same way.. she was playing with my dad and fell on her backside, she limped for a week. it was like she was acting like a baby because she would limp for a few hours then she would be perfectly fine...
also the fact that he's a big dog.. he could be having joint problems... or hip problems? definately get that checked.
i work at petshotel and there's a malamute staying with us... it take him quite a while to get up because of his size.. he looooves playing though.
good luck with your 'friends' dog

It's possible he stepped on something or has a sore paw pad if he runs alot then he may have just rubbed the pad a little and is sore. he may have twisted it running as well. The other option is if the dog is older his age may be catching up to him.

I also have a cousin that has a vicious chihuahua, it bit a relative's ankles inflicting minor bleeding, yet my cousin concept it replaced into 'beautiful' and stored giggling by the incident. Its no giggling count till you get sued, fortunate for her the relative didnt sue her. in the experience that your canines went by severe actual and psychological trauma you shuldnt enable this go. that canines's next sufferer might desire to be YOU.
