You have to ask her to tell you the things that she doesn't like about him.
Deal with them one at a time.
Things she doesn't like:
1) He's black.
Ask what color she would prefer. Blue? We are all some color. Maybe we are a bad color and the color to be is orange.
2) He dresses like a gangster.
Ask what she would prefer he dress like. A spaceman? A plumber? A Bolshevik? Dressing like something doesn't make you that something.
3) Blacks are no good.
There are whites in prison. There are black ministers, doctors, cops, pilots, school teachers, coaches and scout leaders too. There is even a drink called a Black Russian.
While there may have been black people in Russia early on the first blacks in Russia was the result of slave trade by the Ottoman empire and their descendants still live on the coasts of the Black Sea. Czar Peter the Great was recommended by his friend Lefort to bring in Africans to Russia for hard labor. Alexander Pushkin was the descendant of the African slave Abram Petrovich Gannibal, who became Peter's protege, was educated as a military engineer in France, and eventually became general-en-chef, responsible for the building of sea forts and canals in Russia.
During the 1930s fifteen Black American families moved to the Soviet Union as agricultural experts. As African states became independent in the 1960s, the Soviet Union offered them the chance to study in Russia; over 40 years, 400,000 African students came, and many settled there.
Tell her that it's ok. There are some things about her that he won't like either.
Turn the tables on her. She's white. She's Russian. She dresses like an old grandmother. She can't be any good because there are Russians in prison.
Just wear her down. Ask her if he can come to your house and have dinner with your family so that she can see that he's a human being and a real person just like she is.
Find out if there are some ways that they are alike. Play up his good qualities. What does he do well that she could appreciate? Can he cook? Get good grades? Going to college? Play an instrument?
See him away from her if you have to and never mention him to her or anyone who will talk to her.
Best Wishes
.

If he looks like a bad boy, that could be the problem.
It might be racism or it might just be your Mom looking
out for you.
The problem of racism is not helped when blacks
try to 'look bad` and then get upset when the image is believed.

She is your mother, and parents typically have a strong mindset of what they want their children to be like, and who they want them date/end up with. Yes, your mother's views are racist, but she is obviously set in her ways. Don't fight with her about the issue - that will only make things worse. Remember, she only wants what is best for you. Try to open her eyes, and help her understand that just because he is of a different race it does not make him bad. Bring him around her often, talk about all of the good things he does, make him a part of your life that is a good influence and she will surely (eventually) see what you see.

*Cough* Racist Mum *Cough*
Just tell her it doesn't matter what people look like on the outside. Just because they are different on the outside doesn't mean they are different inside. They are exactly like me and you but have a darker skin tone. Tell your mum to get some help, it's horrible not to like 'black' people.

Hey!.. tell your mum Racism is very Bad. Just because he has extra melanin in his blood, does it make him a different person?
A sick non colored guy better than an colored one who is a gentleman?
Lets like people by their qualities not by their Melanin % in their skin.

Well my recommendation to you is do not say something in your mother approximately her on the grounds that its among your sister and your mother- do not get concerned in it on the grounds that then your sis will probably be pissed at u. As lengthy as your sister is aware of the right way to care for it then she is going to inform your mother while shes equipped. She is aware of while its the proper time and he or she feels comfy.
