A verse that allowed me to grow as I let go of my "concerns" is:
Phillipians 4: 6&7
6 Be careful for nothing: but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
7 And the peace of God which passeth all undersatnding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
I remember the night I found this verse. It was after a long week of uncertantity & change. It was as though the words were written just for me!! I also looked at what the meaning of the words were. I began to read it EVERY morning & night ( and still do!), in adition to my studying other verses & praying. In verse 6 the words be careful for nothing, means care forbidden = DO NOT WORRY. Easy to say... challenging to do. So read on, but in EVERYTHING by prayer & supplication let your requests be made known unto God. That tells what to do with our worry...it works. Close your eyes & imagine putting ALL of your worries & concerns into a box. Wrap the box in beautiful paper & tie a lovely ribbbon on it. Give it to God! Once you pray & read your Bible your day will continue.... and as usual, the worry or concern will come into your mind. Remember that you gave it (wrapped as a gift) to God. You would never take a gift (you gave) back from a friend. DO NOT(no matter how anxious you become) take it back from God. TRUST Him to handle your worries & concerns. Use your energy to read your Bible, pray & grow as a person. God will give you the wisdom to make the choices that are right for your life. After all you have made the most IMPORTANT decision you will ever make... to trust Him as your Savior!
Verse 7 tells us: that the peace of God that PASSETH ALL UNDERSTANDING shall keep our hearts & minds through Chridt Jesus. Verse 6 tells us what to do & how to do it. Verse 7 tells us what will happen once we do.
I am just sharing my heart & what I have realized as I have grown over the past few years. I have been a Christian for 25 years, a growing one for the past 20. Believe me, the number of years I have been growing has changed my life FOREVER. I understand how challenging it is to "let go" and trust God & trust ourselves letting go. When we do, our FAITH increases & we mature as Christians & people. I admire your openess to grow by asking this question. God will honor your efforts as you grow & learn more.

What is Faith? The bible says Faith is being sure of what we hope for and cerain of what we do not see. (Hebrews 11:1)

Then how do we increase in Faith? The bible says Faith comes by hearing and hearing of the word of Christ. (Romans 8:17) Hence the best way to increase your faith by memorising some verses that speaks into your situation or life and declare it with faith.

However, faith alone is not enough. By worrying about your problem you are actually restricting God's involment in your situation. By worrying you are still holding on to the problem and refusing to let God work. Therefore, learn to let go. Let God take over. No problem is so big that God cannot solve.

I am not asking you not to do anything in fact, if you don't work on it God can't bless what you work on. What I am saying is trust the Lord that he will turn the situation around when you are working on it and let God handle the outcome. (faith)

On a daily bais i would say that you must read the Bible in the morning and in the evenings. Pray regularly, try to find friends that are Christians, find a church that you will feel comfirtable in, study the word od God.

If you truly want to grow in the faith, the best answer would be to ask God to help you.

Just remember that you want grow spiritually if you don't go to church, pray with other fellow christians and to worship Him.

Learn to trust Him with all your worries and believe in Him! Good Luck!

Well you can meditate on Gods word. Someone told me if you know how to worry than you already know how to meditate. Worrying is thinking negative thoughts over and over, you should not concentrate on the problem so much rather the problem solver. I have had a lot of trouble with this myself, the bible says in matt 7:7 ask and you will receive. The bible also says "If you don't have what you need it's because you don't ask God for it, and when you do ask him you ask for the wrong reasons" Ask God the Father in Jesus' name to help you learn not to worry so that you may better serve him. that is my advise, here's more of what Gods word says on the subject. Philippians 4:6-7 (Don't worry about anything instead, pray about everything.Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience Gods peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.)

a million. faith, via definition, is believing while each and every thing interior the organic (situations, human beings, "experts", thoughts or maybe "experience") tells you to no longer. Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh via listening to, ...the word of God 2 Corinthians 5:7 For we stroll via faith, no longer via sight: as a result, faith is the two blind and deaf to the organic. Hebrews 11:6 yet with out faith that's impossible to delight him (God). in case you have been so possible shaken via those stories, did you relatively believe? (See the myth of the Soils and the Sower in Matthew 13:a million-23.) almost each and every time Jesus healed somebody, He stated "your faith has healed you." no longer Him, no longer God the daddy, no longer the Holy Spirit, yet us... we inventory maximum individuals of the accountability in our dating with Jesus Christ. inspite of each and every thing, in John 19:30, He stated, "that's finished." each and every thing He lived, suffered, died, replaced into resurrected and ascended back into heaven for us to have, do and be, has been finished. the right question is, "Are WE the place (spiritually, extra so than geographically) we'd desire to be to get carry of our advantages?" 2. Why the disconnect between you and God? replaced into it faith? replaced into it that He did no longer relatively inform you what you concept? replaced into it only a attempt, to work out the form you will react to His silence? human beings, Christians blanketed, are so rapid to fault and blame God, while the accountability of advantages are on US, no longer Him. Pray that he will show why there replaced right into a disconnect. ("show" is the considerable word, relatively than "coach" or "tell". Revelation is what brings approximately actual understand-how and information. while you will possibly be "shown" or "instructed" many stuff and nonetheless no longer believe. i'm hoping that's smart. Sorry it is so long.
