Take it from one who has been under a diagnosis of schizophrenia paranoia for over 40 years that you are not schizophrenic. It is not such a terrible disease as long as you understand it, are treated early, get TLC from medical staff and family and remember to take your anti-psychotic medications.
Schizophrenia is not a single disease but a spectrum of disorders. Forty % of the general populagtion report having hallucinations at some time in their life while only about 1 % are diagnosed as schizophrenic. Other disorders have hallucinatory symptoms (one is bi-polar disorder). Look up "hallucinations" and "schizophrenia" in Yahoo! web search for more information on the subjects. Wikipedia has good summary's.
Good luck in your research, good mental health, peace and Love!

maybe you have ghosts,or something. Seriously.I see a lot of freaky stuff on Ghost Hunters;enough to convince me. Or it could be just an over-active imagination or stress, but that wouldn't explain your mom seeing the the desk shake too. Do you have tremors/earthquakes where you live or does your house vibrate slightly when a furnace/appliance is on or when a big truck goes up the street or something? Those are the only natural things i could think that could make your desk shake for you both to see. But with the footsteps and everything too, maybe it's not so far-fetched that it could be something super-natural. But again, it could be just a stressed out mind playing tricks on you so just try to relax and not worry about everything so much. But if these things continue or get worse you might want to consider seeing a Psychiatrist...or a Priest...

in the beginning loopy del is incorrect - it may't be cured via drugs. that's effectively taken care of yet there is not any treatment for schizophrenia. that's an extremely very no longer effortless ailment to handle. My grandmother has it. She has battled with drugs all her life and it continues to be very no longer effortless for her. She finally discovered a drugs in her 50's that each and all of us set to work relatively properly, yet her dose has been upped lots by the years, and he or she nonetheless hears voices at cases. If the voices tell her that she will't stroll, then she collapses while she tries to stand up. It rules her recommendations at cases. as far because of the fact the 25 element, i do no longer understand yet i've got heard of people having it as early as 22 years previous. as far as teenagers having it?? i do no longer think of so - in no way heard that - consistently heard it replaced into early 20's (equivalent op_'s answer stated teenagers have it) ***btw - very exciting question!

NOOOOO ----Do NOT even go there ! WHY do I say this because ONE: your mom noticed it TOO. TWO: Someboday DID try to hack your computer so you sound like you have had alot of terrible experiences in the past months. YOU ARE VERY STRESSED THATS ALL. AND YOU NEED TO TAKE A BREAK BEFORE IT GETS WORSE. YOU DO NOT HAVE SCHIZOPHRENIA. GO TO A FAMILY DOCTOR AND GET SOME ANTI--ANXIETY PILLS AND REST. THAT WILL DO IT. If your symptoms keep getting worse THEN go see a psychiatrist.

People with schtizophrenia do not share thier hallucinations with others. So your mom seeing the desk shake as well most likely means you don't have it.

schizophrenia is actually a mental illness that ONLY YOU CAN FEEL.. you'll feel like there is somebody inside your head keep telling you what to do for everything.. if your mom also can see 'this person' that might not schizophrenia, might be just a delusion...
