Most christians are living under the yoke of the law(10 commandments)
Do you not know that we are to repent of the dead works of the law?
To mix faith with the law is the only way to fall from grace.
book of acts ch 15 verse 10
Jesus wasnt turning from his sins when he was baptized by john, he was turning from the law(10 commandments) Which he was born under.

Those ar Paul's words, not Jesus'. Paul bypassed the OT because he was highly anti-semetic. He tweaked the message of jesus, primarily b/c he believed that the end of days was near and it had not come after all that time and people were beginning to question how to handle things like food rituals, marriage, etc. Thus, Paul, disregarding the OT and Jesus' teachings, relied on end-times notions.
