I'm an atheist and I don't get why God, would send me to hell? Can anyone please explain this?

I'm sorry i think i gave the wrong impression. IF I believed that God existed then why would he send me to hell just on account of me not believing in him?

Uh no, I never said anything about wanting to be accepted into a heaven I don't believe in. I'm just questioning the LOGIC of it all.

Your logic is on the dot -- right on.

The promise by God is that the unbelievers shall be forever erased, from 'I existed - to I exists no longer." That is the answer.

So... you're an athiest and you even BELIEVE in God and think that there is a hell?
How contriversial.

Well, i'm not here to judge you, but to simple answer your question.
God does not want to send you to hell, it is the devil, who is already in hell, that wants to bring you down with him when Jesus does come eventually.
Do you not see all the ministries prophecising, teaching, enlightening the lives of so many, just so that they can be saved and AVOID Hell?
How can atheists be so oblivious to the OBVIOUS TRUTH : God exists, and this will bite you right in the behind when he does come!!!

If you are not covered in the blood of the lamb and washed clean of all your sins, you will be found guilty when the books are opened on Judgment day for all your sins. You will then be cast into hell forever separated from God and everything good for all eternity. This is justice.

Jesus Christ died on the cross for you and took the punishment for all your sins, past, present and future. You have to except this free gift in order not to go to hell.

If you really want to know the answers, read the Holy Bible.

God send a lot of people to hell for a lot of reasons. God is ever-loving BUT God also punishes people on Earth and in the Hereafter.

BUT remember God is also The Most Forgiving. God have gave us, human a lot to be thankful to BUT we always deny Him, forget Him or ignore Him. if we managed to repent and ask for His forgiveness and follow His orders then hell wouldn't be our final destination.

I believe in God, hell, heaven and the Hereafter BUT i'm still trying my best to follow His Orders.

all the best & may you'll find God and the Truth.

Okay, let me get this straight, you are an atheist, and by definition, do not believe in God, yet you want Him, whom you don't believe in, to allow you into His Heaven. Does this sound rational at all to you?
God's main attribute is holiness, all others flow from that. He is also perfectly righteous. In His holiness, He cannot allow sin into Heaven. In His righteousness, sin must be punished. You, as a human, have a sin nature, and sin, which is an offense against the holiness of God. Either Christ took the punishment due you for your sins onto himself when He died on the cross, or you pay for your sins, eternally.

one answer there is no heaven or hell. The only thing god is the name for the unknown. Religion is not fact only teaching of morels of right and wrong. Cause who's really say what a sin is or isn't.

Well it's like this. when you come to him you become his child. You accept him, you receive him, and then he fights for you all the days of your life. And then nothing you can do will get you away from him- from his love, because he draws you back every time. Now he fights to be with you and be able to talk to you and open up to you when you don't want him, but he cannot have you if you don't want him,,you are not really his if you don't CHOOSE him, because you don't want him. So how could you go to be with him if you never chose to be with him in THIS life? Wouldn't make much sense wouldn't it? People go to hell because they choose not to be with God, and in turn, they choose to be with the devil.

Because the christian god is like an abusive husband:

See, he loves us all...loves us all so much he killed his only son to prove it. We just have to accept his love or else he'll cast us into a place of eternal unimaginable suffering! That isn't his fault for doing so, he *has* to do it because we won't accept him! It doesn't matter at all if we do our best to live good lives, we HAVE TO DO AS HE SAYS! We *MAKE* him hit us! It' all our fault! He only does it because he loves us so much! No officer, I just fell down the stairs, that's all!

The whole catholic/christian religion is a bunch of hipocritical BS. It has flaws and errors throughout its bible, and contridictions every which way. If anything, just leave it alone, and do what you like. All you're really going to do after you die is rot in the bosom of the earth. Just enjoy you're self no matter how cliche that sounds

God doesn't choose to send anyone to hell. An individual must make a choice whether to follow God or not. It's your choice if you don't want to follow God, but don't be surprised if you find yourself standing in a lake of fire someday.
