Generally, no they aren't.

You will have to take them to a tailor, when your in Tech School or you get to your first duty assignment.

HAHAHA! Clever, but no. The Air Force will give you your initial uniform issued items. For training you will give your sizes (or be measured) and they will issue the items that will best fit you... it may not be perfect, but it's often close.

At your assignments you MAY get additional items (like cold weather gear for inclement weather locations). All tailoring is done on your own bill at your own time... ie, tech school at the soonest. Don't worry, you'll get a clothing allowance meant to offset the cost of uniforms and maintenance.

Your dress uniform will be altered for you when issued..
As far as work uniforms go, there are two sizes, you'll lose weight, or you'll grow into them. These do not get altered.

Request for alterations of the uniforms in order to have a good training.

They take your measurements, and issue uniforms that should fit.

They don't alter the uniforms, they alter you.
