install a cat door and show her how to use it, she'll get used to it.

Maybe she's in trauma. And why do you want her to go outside?
And how scared is she? Maybe if you could just carry her around and pet her at the same time, and make sure she's safe, she'll never be more afraid.
Also, look out for dangerous things outside your home, maybe they're the ones scaring your cat?
Good luck with you and your cat, I mean, kitten :D

Why would you want her to go outside? It is safer for her to be an inside cat. Less chance of contracting fleas or ticks, being hit by a car, bit by a dog, all kinds of things. Not to mention all the weird people out there that mutilate small animals. Its not worth it, keep inside.

Its best to keep her as an indoor cat. Outdoor cats always have a short life span, often get in fights with other cats and animals, get run over, get lost or stolen, get fleas and ticks, eat unhealthy things and get sick. Keep your baby inside all safe and sound, she is smart to be afraid of going outside!

Why do you want her to go outside? My cat is 6 years old and the farthest she goes is on the fire escape. It's not a big deal. There are street cats and there are indoor cats. Don't force her to go out if she doesn't want to. Cats find ways to keep themselves occupied without having to go out. Trust me, you are not depriving her of anything. If she's happy indoors- let her have it her way.

Its normal. I have a 3 year old cat that wont go outside either. Its nothing to worry over, she is safer inside anyway.

My late cat was the same thing. I think it is a good thing for them to not go outside in the first place. You should be happy and don't stress your cat over this.

There's nothing to help you with. Cats should be kept indoors to avoid being hit by a car or hurt by cruel people. Be a good pet owner and provide a safe environment for your kitty by keeping her in doors.

She's more safe inside than out, its even healthier for her. Why push her if she doesn't want to go out?
I know litter boxes are not fun, but....I still think its a small price to pay to keep your kitty safe and healthy!

Wouldn't you be afraid of going outside if you were a kitty and just lived in your cozy little home?
Start slow. Just leave the door open. Then place some treats right outside the door. Then a little farther. Then start taking her on walks with LOTS of treats.
