I'm not Jewish. The Old Testament was written by many authors (around 30).

God. He inspired men to write it, and yes these men were Isrealites, because at the time they were God's chosen people. What exactly is the point you are trying to make here?

God dictated the Torah to Moses. The bible is God's word; He wrote it.

Don't know. Don't care. I cannot become Jewish I am not of Jewish blood, therefore the book would be pointless to me. I would guess that it came from the same sort of place as all religious books.
